Flavor is great, cooked perfectly, and ask someone who appreciates a plant-based meal nothing tops this. Whatever my partner is eating across the table must be very spicy. He’s dying, but I feel like this might be worth it.“

“We ordered the crab fried rice, crab curry, braised short rib curry, and Pad Kee Mao and everything was 10/10! so delicious and flavorful. The food is spicy but we love spicy! We also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was perfect!!!! Employees are so friendly and welcoming and also attentive. We came close to their lunch break and they never made us feel like we had to rush or leave soon! 🥰 We are so happy to have a yummy thai restaurant so close by to us!“

“Gao Kitchen is hands down some of the best food in Bergen County. Everything is authentic, flavorful, and delicious, and the prices are great for the quality and portions. Their Thai tea is the BEST, and I’ve genuinely stopped in before just to get a tea. Every curry I’ve tried has been amazing, and there’s always something I’m excited to order. My family normally doesn’t like eating out very often, but we eat at Gao Kitchen at least twice a month, and we get takeout even more than that. It’s become one of our go-to spots, and I recommend it to everyone!“

I would have given it five stars only I felt there should be a bit more chicken and vegetables given the cost. However, everything is more expensive these days so maybe it's just to be expected. “This place serves some really good Thai food! I spent a couple of months in Thailand exploring the cuisine, and I have to say, this spot really measures up. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re craving authentic Thai flavors but can’t make the trip to Thailand. “A lovely family runs this restaurant that prides itself on the freshest and interesting sushi and Asian delicacies. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Dine-in is no frills decor, but it’s BYO and it’s the food that I keep coming back for. Diane is a great sushi chef!“

“An Asian mall food joint with an interesting Thai twist. In reality, I don't think the food is very Thai - the offerings are pretty similar to Chinese food, like Panda Express. Their specialty is the Mango Chicken, which I love and is a much sweeter version of the Orange Chicken. I know it probably has more sugar than I need for a week but it tastes so darn good. The Pad Thai is passable but nowhere near the quality of legit Thai restaurants; I prefer the fried rice instead. They will give you a lot of food - much more than Panda Express. As long as you're not expecting anything more than good mall food, this is a great option at the Garden State Plaza Food Court.“
