“I was just there in February, last month, and had salt fish and rice and spinach, and it was fantastic. There are Golden Krust in The Houston Market area, but nowhere as good as this place. Makes me want to move back up to New York State!!!“

“Wow, a friend recently told me about this lovely bakery and I finally had a chance to stop by today. It's everything I could have hoped for. I picked up a tantalizingly warm Irish Soda Bread, which I was very happy to get, but I got even happier when I found out that it came with Orange Butter. So yummy! I will definitely be back!“

“The place is small and comfy, the service is great, the food is excellent, I had the grilled chicken with mushrooms sauce, the mini bandeja paisa, and the steak, everything tasted fresh and with great flavor, the millojas and the tres leches also tasted fresh, I recommend you this place to visit and eat there“
“Great for breakfast and lunch - a great place for unique gifts, baked goods and local treats. We had a cup of chili, a cup on Sumatra Mocha coffee from Dean’s Beans (it was delicious) - we ordered the salad with goat cheese, grilled butternut squash, and chicken, and the fried eggplant on focaccia. All was so delicious and fresh and we topped it off with a shared piece of their famous carrot cake. You can preorder their famous apple cider donuts. Love this place!“

“This is an amazing local bakery. Great pastries and pasta. The coffees and drinks are a hit as well. So many different new choices every time I come in it’s hard to make a choice. I have never had a bad experience and have tried so many different things I thought would be out of my comfort zone. “This is by far the best deli! They have the best food and staff always so attentive and quick to take and make orders, so friendly and they give huge amounts of food with your order and are not even close to skimpy. They even remember you and your orders and really just makes the experience positive. I go here everyday that I can! Thank you for the best service!“

“Absolutely love this place. My family has been getting cakes made since my brothers and I were kids. American cookie cake never fails to produce the best tasting cookie I have ever had. The women who runs the shop is a doll, she’s is dedicated to producing only the best! Thank you so much for making every event, birthday party etc special. The last cake I had purchase was for my 5 years in remission from cancer and receiving my sheet cookie cake was the best part of my day!“

“Just stopped in to get my son’s birthday cake. It’s off menu, but right now they’re making me a vegan breakfast sandwich!! They also have vegan ice cream and vegan ice cream cakes, in addition to vegan pastries. This place is a treasure. I’d give five stars, but the app won’t let me.“

“We had such a great experience here! The food was phenomenal and the service was even better. The fried tilapia was perfectly cooked, and it came with a beet cabbage salad that had the perfect citrusy crunch. Emiliano gave us additional Guatemalan delicacies to try such as chicken relleno. Also get the tres leche. It’s amazing! Too bad I’m in NYC or else I’d come here weekly. I will definitely be back though!“
