People like that are so appreciated because they can make or break an experience and he made it 10x better. Now to the food - the bacon cheeseburger was juicy, flavorful and exactly what I asked for. “Okay first of all Mashallah 😍. I was born in the generation of Halalbee’s. First off, I got my order quickly! The man I spoke with had a mask on, and the restaurant was perfectly COVID compliant. The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! No food photo cause I legit inhaled my meal!“

“I've been here a couple of times and the employees are always nice, it's always clean, and the food is always tasty. The Burger is a little small but it's the perfect taste and texture. And to be frank, the size is just enough for me, it's a smashed patty style of burger; thickness is not the goal. I love their options for toppings and sauces and my fries, which is a pretty good portion as well, taste fresh as well. Will absolutely go back for a lunch on the go“

“I had one of the best burgers. I work in the party business (tents,tables ,chairs) after a long day of work. I stopped by this shop just to order a regular burger and boy was I blown away by the taste. I spoke with the chef and he was extremely kind. He seemed to be passionate about his work. “If you want your halal food made quickly and with quality come here. You can get any platter over rice for 10 dollars with a canned soda and fries included. They have a big selection with fair prices and the employees are respectful / hard working. “The first time I went to Slutty Vegan was after a long Wellness Event and I was hungry AF. The atmosphere picked me up while I received my order with the quickness and was engaged by the staff. The food was the perfect blend of Vegan and Fusion styles of caribbean/afrocentric food. Worth the visit!“

“I came here on a wednesday night with my wife after a day of travelling and our waitress Nia was very helpful. My wife had some questions about the menu and Nia was very knowledgeable. We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. This was a very filling and cost effective date.“

“Fine enough Smashburger. The food was good. We did receive reusable plastic cups for our drinks, since we ate in. Not everyone did, so that was weird. The girl who took our order was eating as she took our order, which was unexpected. She was nice enough though. There were not too many clean tables when we sat, but the same girl came to wipe them off when she had a chance. Football was on the two televisions, on a Sunday, which I guess is good for fans. Had a fine enough experience. The food is good so I would return.“

“Went to Havana Central for pre-theater + Restaurant Week. Full and lively space, quick + efficient service, good prix fixe menu. Food - overall really good, but found the Vaca Frita to be really dry. Drinks - got spicy margies, very tasty but seemed alcohol-light. Small drawbacks, very satisfied overall. My friend really liked the experience, wondered why she'd never been before. Will def be back!“

“My father and I went here to grab a bite before a flight. We both got the pizza burger medium. Was a big burger. I enjoyed it. The burger alone was enough for me. My dad got the platter. Honestly I didn’t care for the fries. They were overdone and really oily. Also they didn’t have regular old mustard, just a Dijon.“

Came here after a long week at my stupid job just to chill, work on my online business and relax. The metal music was on point, and Jason the bartender was super cool — he went above and beyond to customize my drink exactly how I wanted it.
Free Wi-Fi, great vibes, killer music. I'm 100% coming back to work, relax, and vibe out.

They have big screens playin sports in case you are a fan or Basketball, Bakeball, , sccer, any sports, etc. 20 tvs.

After visiting this location for a few more times, I can give a more accurate review. Initial review was during the first week this place opened up.

The burger is not bad, has all the classics ingredients for a regular burger but for me too little meat. For a better meaty burger I recommend getting two patties. The single patty burgers leaves me feeling unsatisfied.

The fries from the last few times I orders has been bad. They are shoestring cut fries and it seems like they fry a bunch ahead of time and keep them to the side until needed. Some of them are hard as a pretzel and others limp.

Unfortunately the wings seem like they suffer the same fate, but with less flavor. It’s not common to get un-breaded halal wings in the Bronx (most of them are the tiny breaded ones from your local halal deli), but they are missing some marinade or something to bring it alive, besides drenching it with sauce.

The crispy chicken sandwich was very oily, and definitely double fried. Which means it was half fried before and left to the side until a customer orders one and they re-fry them. This makes the chicken rubbery and the breading dark brown and oily. I rather wait a few more minutes for a made to order chicken sandwich.

Being raised in the neighborhood, I was excited to have this place open up and wanted to make it regular place I go, to get my fix, but they have to work on some quality control before they have me be a regular. I really hope they listen to the customers concerns and revamp their process in the kitchen. I really want to see local halal businesses like this one succeed but the food has to be up to par.

The workers there are very friendly and the atmosphere is your nicely decorated burger joint.
I’ll give them some time and try them out and see if there’s any improvements.“

“Great raw clams and great price. Steamers , dogs and burgers and fried seafood. BYOB , great place to stop for a quick bite and yearning for raw clams . Nothing fancy but it’s not supposed to be and for what it is it is 5 stars and 2 👍👍 thumbs up!“
