“A buddy at work told me about this little beauty on the corner of 97th & 23rd Ave in East Elmhurst so I said I'd give it a try & it did not disappoint. It's a nice clean & bright restaurant with some tables & chairs outside & inside with two countertops & seating for 8 people on high stools & a small table & 2 chairs, nice AC blowing cool air. The server was very nice and they had the World Cup on TV & music playing down low. I ordered the double Burger Queen w/ truffle fries & a can of coke zero. The burger was moist tasteful sauces delicious & fried onions give it that extra taste. I saw some comments about burger & fries too salty (THEY WEREN'T) The truffle fries again were absolutely delicious so once I was done I went and ordered another double Burger Queen. This will be my go to for a delicious tasting burger & fries. I will try the triple with a fried egg next time. Listen, it's worth the visit. G'WAN YA WON'T BE SORRY 😉“

“They cater to your request. The menu is deep with options and the chicken is always fresh. Now as far as the gyro is concerned the combo over rice is on spot. Even if you want it over salad its good. I recommend it if you're up on Jerome Ave by Gunhill road....“

As someone who doesn't eat meat, finding good fast food can be a challenge, but the cashier, Lee, recommended the black bean burger. It was delicious and wonderfully messy to eat! “I couldn’t get a picture of anyone’s food since we all dug in right away but the food here is amazing! We had their Birria tacos, a steak meal and a steak fajitas meal—chef’s kiss! They were very kind, welcoming and family oriented here. The place is small, I will say, it’s way smaller than I expected but nonetheless, we were quickly seated and the music was good the entire time. This was a memorable experience , thank you!“

“A hidden gem, Great food and it’s all Halal. They open late , like really late till 2-3 am. My favorite is the Holy chicken sandwich they have sweet potato tots as a side, there’s nowhere else that does that and their seasoned fries slap too and their tenders is damn near half a chicken,

“Great experience! Servers were very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and nice. Food took a little bit to come out but considering quality burger freshly made- good enough time. It's not a fast food.

Personally fries were bit heavily seasoned but if you enjoy your salt, it is good! Very flavorful.

My only wish is that they’d cook them a little more toward medium. Still, pair that burger with the onion rings, and you’ve got yourself a pretty damn good meal. Prices are reasonable, it’s a little out of the way, but absolutely worth the trip.

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! “I’ve been ordering delivery from Chicken is Back for quite some time, and I can tell you that the fried chicken is actually crispy and juicy.

You must get the white garlic sauce if you’re a garlic lover like me. It’s so creamy and good! The spicy original is also really good if you like a little kick. My only complaint is that they put the sauce in such a tiny container, and it’s definitely not enough…

Although they’re known for their fried chicken, don’t sleep on the grilled chicken. It’s a healthier option, but it’s still incredibly juicy and flavorful. Honestly, it surprised me how good it was! As for the crispy batter fries, they’re OK, but honestly, kind of meh.

“All the food is quality and very tasty .From the pasta dishes to the chicken ,meatballs, eggplant ,lasagna,shrimp dishes. .Everything is made on premise and homemade.The specialty pizzas and slices at the counter are outstanding. We tried the BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) on Croissant and it was delicious! The croissant was hot and fluffy. The bacon was crisp and the cheese was warm and melty. We all split one and had to go back for another. I also tried the black drip coffee — it’s standard but has a good dark roast flavor. I drink americanos usually, so this was a bit dark for me but personally it’s way better than a black coffee at Starbucks.“

The food is fresh and full of flavor, the drinks are always amazing, and the service always top notch. I even brought my daughter here for her 21st birthday and the bartender Marissa took the time to ask her some questions and made her a special birthday cocktail. She also gave her the 101 on drinking safely and responsibly which is awesome coming from another woman.
