“Hadn't been there since 2016 possibly when I moved away from the area in 2017 still got the same day service the same hostess was there and everything was wonderful I told them where I was and we reminisced and had a great time and hey the food is still the same as it was back then no changes next time in the area hope you have more money so I can buy more food to bring up to where I live I'm in the mountains where the options are limited and few. Thank you Georgie for great experience“

Everything was perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too sweet, just right. Can’t wait to go back. Best sushi place in town!“

“Hands down one of the best Asian restaurants in NYC. Easily the best in the Bronx. Party of 12 was accommodated at a late hour with warmth, attention, humor and generosity. We were not rushed out and we were given a discount. You won't regret anything you order here, and the owners are a treasure!“

“Fogama provides seriously delicious Japanese dishes, that are expertly created from a vast and varied menu. Every dish was enjoyable and appreciated. Service was great when we first arrived, but then lacked on a very busy Friday evening. We will definitely return.“

“Tried this new sushi spot with a friend and loved it! The food was delicious, the quality was great, and the vibe was super chill. Service was amazing from start to finish. Special shoutout to Stacey for taking such great care of us! Definitely a spot worth checking out!“

“I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

My friend and I were deep in conversation and lost track of time, but they never rushed us to leave. I will definitely be coming back and will make a reservation next time (we were lucky to get seats with no wait just by walking in)!“

“Absolutely delicious, food is amazing, if your able to sit down and eat it's a nice spot to do so. But because the food is good, it gets pretty packed. Great prices for alot of food. And the Fried chicken Dumplings are great. I ate them so fast I didn't take a picture. ? ?“

“I absolutely Love This Place. I come here every chance i get, i love the food and the chefs provide cool entertainment 💪🏻“

“I was able to get a reservation for two, same day for 6pm at the bar area. We didn’t wait at all as there was bar seating. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and did not disappoint when asked for a recommendation. After many nigiri selections and a few hand rolls I would recommend the hamachi & scallion, bluefin tuna, and the spicy ora king salmon hand rolls. I had a favorite hand roll place before (KazuNori) but OKO amazed me and is now my favorite place for hand rolls. Presentation is taken seriously, as well as the craft that goes into the cuts of fish and I can tell the fish is very fresh. As for the sushi, I very much enjoyed every piece I ordered but my favorites were definitely the salmon belly and the smoked black cod. I definitely see myself returning and recommending OKO. Atmosphere and service were also very positive during my visit. This place is definitely a positive experience for me.
Things to keep in mind: their sushi/nigiri are smaller than your average sushi place but still a welcoming size. They take walk-ins but reservations seem to be highly recommended. OKO has high quality fish/ingredients so you will be paying a pretty penny.“

“Great service, delish is food! Never disappoints.“

“It's been years coming to parsley, I mean how can you not come here. Let me explain to you that this woman all by herself is managing this place. From Onigiris to Tuna Don, Maze Gohan as well as ramen soups. I mean everything is so perfect. She has a great selection of sake to die for as well as beer. Without mentioning that there is a variety of Wines. Excellent for Dine in and takeout. Overall, a great place for dates, as well as coming alone. You will not be disappointed.

Vegetarian options: Tofu soup, Vegetable Gyozas, vegetables Onigiris.“

“absolutely delicious service was great .🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤“

“Món ăn Nhật Bản ngon nhất tôi từng nếm thử. Tôi rất khuyến khích. Best japanese food I have ever tasted. I highly recommend.“

“I almost forgot about this spot but remembered it from when I trained at the martial arts gym down the street. I saw the other reviews raved about the food and the impressive menu for such a little spot so I decided to stop in for lunch. Very delicious indeed and the fish was rather fresh and clean tasting. They offer a decently priced menu full of Japanese favorites including cooked dishes if you are not a sushi fan. I opted for a traditional tuna maki roll and a spicy tuna roll as apart of the lunch special. Both were so tasty I ended up ordering another roll to go and the crispy rice. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and traditional decor, very bright and clean looking. Sometimes these restaurants these days can get a little too funky with the decor so they made a proper choice maintaining simplicity. I see they deliver so I will definitely be ordering again when I am not in the area.“

“I came here with my mom for an afternoon lunch and it was such a good decision. The place is colorful with a very calming playlist in the background. The food arrived right away. It was fresh delicious full of authentic notes. We ordered two different drinks and we both love our drinks and the dessert was just exactly what I wanted. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.“

“This establishment is a healthy option for me. Today I ordered Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki with vegetables only. I also had a side of chicken dumplings. As usual, the food was fresh and tasty. This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat in the area. Food that is freshly prepared in front of you is always best.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“Tokyo Ya is a hiden gem best shushi all you can eat place. everything was cooked to perfection. Price is the cheapest AYCE. Quality of fish super fresh just melts on your mouth. went twice with no disappointment. server was awesome and food came right away. the electronic ordering is cool awesome. first time ever giving a review to a place I really like and did not disappointed me at all. 10/10 ( from an enthusiastic AYCE Gal)“

“We were five seconds away from getting hangry and we found this place. we both got the scallion pancakes and the pork ramen. Let me tell you the broth came out hot and plentiful. It was savory and rich. It was such a perfect end to our day. The scallion pancakes were pan fried and not deep fried, which we preferred. They were crispy and soft in the inside. I couldn’t recommend this hidden gem enough.“

“Upscale Japanese cuisine, very friendly staff. For sure one of the best Japanese restaurant in Long Island. I enjoyed!“

“We have been coming here 2-3 times a year for over a decade as a road trip halfway point/lunch/relaxed bypass of the GWB along I-95, and every time it's one of the best meals of the year.
Tastefully decorated small and simple mom-&-pop restaurant with excellent service and fantastic food.“

“Great food and ambiance! You must try it!!!“

“Authentic Japanese cuisine Family owed Clean Excellent service and friendly“

“I love this place so much!!! Food was so good! The pork gyozas and a chicken bento box 10/10!!! Brings so much food I can feed a village with one bento box! Compliments to the chef, their siblings, their parents and all their loved ones. Honestly the best I have ever had.“

“Excellent Asian fusion cuisine and great ambiance-at reasonable prices! Great drinks too!“

“I enjoyed the sashimi and the apetizers. My granddaughter had 2 servings of the salmon rolls. The staff was very nice and it was a real cute restaurant with affordable prices. It was so good I didn't even yake any pictures, i just ate it all!“

“Was super excited to try some rolls tonight after a 12 hour work day, but unfortunately after 45 minutes of waiting patiently inside for them to be prepared they still were not ready and hadn’t even been started to be made. Staff not entirely apologetic. Asked for refund and won’t be back.“

“My wife delivered at Weil Cornell, and after 9 long months it was finally time to eat Sushi again. It was hard to decide where to order from, but we picked Goal Omakase (and it was excellent). Spicy Crunchy Tuna and Salmon were delicious as were negi toro and jumbo toro rolls. Wasabi Chips were a fun treat. Anyway, my point is that if you're at Alexandra Cohen and you delivered a baby, you deserve sushi delivered to you, and why not treat yourself with high quality fish. Goal Omakase did not disappoint.“

“I love it!! And the place is clean“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

PS: ask for their Fried Oreo Dessert, you won’t regret it😊“

“Best and most creative sushi ever. Have never tried an item on the menu that I didn’t like. ❤️“

“Great food. Bento box is my fiancé & my favorite. Once a week We order.“

“This place has the potential of being staple in the harlem neighborhood. It more of Americanized Japanese food that they serve. Which is not a bad thing, this is good place if you want something different but still stay in the familiarity of dishes. Their prices are very fairand give good portion sizes. I will recommend for you to come try it if you never been. It's definitely a place to go for lunch or picking up something quick.“

“It is clean, balanced portions of food, I had the combo shrimp & filet mignon steak, very good at reasonable $, I think it's ,the best combo! including miso soup & choice of ice cream,I had Pistachios with marischino cherries. overall great 👍 thumbs up!“

“Hands down the best sushi in westchester no joke. Theres no other place as fresh as this place, their spicy mayo is so different and their sushi is unmatched. Its a hidden gem, i dont even want to write this review so i can gatekeep it and keep it all to myself“

“Teriyaki One on Fordham is great! The food is fresh and tasty, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. The place is clean, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a go-to spot for teriyaki in the Bronx!“

“So I came here for my birthday dinner and at first I did not want to eat there since I thought it will be a party vibe, but the lounge area wasn’t open. Which I get it since it was a Wednesday. But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! I was overwhelmed with his generosity. He really made my night special. And something I will always remember. Keep Being the kind person u are Wilmer. Good things will definitely come to u. I will be back. THANKS AGAIN!“

“Go. If you Love Sushi. Yahao gets it more than right! Food is exceptional. Sushi ordered so wonderfully dang fresh , clean and robust. We ordered even more. “Honestly ordered a lot of food and it only came out to 58$
Yellowtail jalapeno the tuna tataki (which is really covered in black pepper) spicy tuna roll the tiger roll with shrimp tempura spicy tuna and avocado
And white tuna that I truly never knew existed
All in all solid spot reasonably priced“

“One of the best Ramen Bars I’ve ever been to. The flavors across the menu are unreal. The Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork Belly in particular was one of the best soup broths I’ve ever tasted. The service staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The quaint setting and atmosphere lend themselves to almost feel like sitting at one big family style dinner table.“

“I love to eat here and my favorite dish is Pork/chicken Katsu. Always fresh and crunchy,
They cook the best katsu/curry sauce. They cook daily and it is a rich sauce with veggies and meat. Family cooking style. Simple and delicious! Thank you !“
