“The food was delicious, I just wish there was more of a variety. I got the Blackened Beef Tenderloin tips which tasted good but should have had more meat, most of the plate was mashed potatoes. There should be more beef options for dinner, ie: ribeye, prime rib, NY strip steak, short ribs, etc. The service was okay, a little slow. I ordered sparkling water and it came in a bottle with no glass, which was kind of odd. I had to request a glass and then the glass she gave me was tiny. It was crowded in there and a little loud, tables are too close together.“

This was the first time that I’ve been out to eat in a while, when I didn’t have to worry so much about compromising flavor, in place of excessive dairy and meats. “Had Valentines Day dinner at Horizons. The evening was excellent in all aspects from start to finish.

The food was outstanding, clearly the chef knows how to create dishes with flavors that complement each other, delicious!

All of the staff, from the bar tenders, the coat check lady, our server Debbie, to management were personable, efficient and attentive.

Since it was Valentines Day the restaurant was extremely busy but the acoustics were very good in that I could have an intimate conversation with my partner (very important if you don't want to shout to be heard above the noise). I should note that tables were not on top of each other which enhanced the overall experience. There was a Jazz trio playing that also added to a charming atmosphere.

The only opportunity is that we miss a place to get up and dance, pre-Covid it was possible to do that in the bar area.“

“Party of 6 last Friday. Service was excellent, nearly everything we ordered was amazing except the scallops. They were small, not cooked well and dish was rather bland. I love seafood so i was quite disappointed but we will definitely be back. Overall 8.5/10“

“We visited Elevated Sol when the bar was open but the kitchen was closed for the night. Even so, we had a wonderful time chatting with Yvonne and Henry, two incredibly sweet and passionate people. They clearly love creating a warm, welcoming experience for their guests. They even let us sample some empanadas and plantains, which were absolutely delicious. My wife and I truly enjoyed ourselves. The cocktails were excellent, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere is unique, cozy, and classy. We’re looking forward to coming back.“

“Ate there last night. Service was good. Manager Julie super friendly and welcoming. 3 of us had fish fries, 2 battered, 1 breaded. Large portions but a bit overcooked. Coleslaw portion small though. Broccoli with garlic butter had a topping that was a bit salty until I mixed it up. Delicious. Super attentive waitress. Never had to ask for a refill of ice tea she'd bring it upon noticing it was getting low. Wedge salad ginormous!! Almost entire head of lettuce!! Friendly staff and good service. Definitely going back for a 2nd try on the fish.“

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. “Girls weekend trip ended here for brunch. The restaurant is rustic, farm to table food with a very cozy vibe. The menu is impressive! You can tell the mixologist & chef collaborated with awe inspiring drinks and food! I got the hunting wives (love the catchy name) which was a milk punch with a nutty flavor and fee foam on top. Blown away by the drink ! I was so excited the bartender oked my drink choice, as there are brunch cocktails available, I preferred the one off the evening cocktail list. I ordered the kataifi which was a TASTE ADVENTURE!!! It was a hay-like crispy noodle which was light and airy, and in the center was 2 sunny side eggs with a herbal cream cheese. Wow!!! Great suggestion from our server, Fiona. Service was great, food and drink blew me away! This is a must stop if you are in the area! I can’t wait to try dinner!!“

“Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“

As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. “Walk-in, counter service Jamaican restaurant. I ordered a medium Curry Chicken with rice / peas / cabbage as well as a beef patty.

Everything was delicious and tasted homemade. The rice / peas was a standout and paired perfectly with the curry chicken and cabbage. Beef patty had mild spice and very flaky dough.
