“Great Thai food! Visiting Penfield and went by this place and it looked good. It looks like it's in a converted bank, but it works. \nMy wife and I love Hot & Sour Soup so we had to order the Tom Yum Chicken (Hot & sour flavor with lemon grass & galanga) and Tom Kha Chicken (Coconut, lemon grass & galanga). Both were excellent, the Tom Kha is a little sweet from the coconut and I loved it.\nMy wife ordered the Mango Chicken which she thought was very good. I saw the Drunken Noodles with choice of Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. I had enjoyed Drinken Chicken years ago and haven't found it again so that was my choice. GOOD CHOICE!\nI enjoyed it very much. It had very wide rice noodles, and lots of chicken and vegetables. Much as the name implies, there is no alcohol in it. It was a very large portion, so I enjoyed what I didn't eat then, for lunch the next day.\nGood food, good service, nice atmosphere. You'll get a good meal here.“

“Came to Dinner tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday , we are not from the area , she attends st.john fisher and we were looking for a good Italian Dinner. All 6 of us had incredible Dinners . From start to finish all was amazing including our waiter who has a great sense of humor . We definitely will be returning soon . Thanks for a great evening to celebrate our Daughter! Seafood FraDiavlo , tortellini Gorgonzola, shrimp, and scallops scampi pasta were just some of the delicious dinners we had !!! I am currently waiting for a smoothie & I hear them talking about how they shouldn’t have to clean out their blender after making a mango smoothie. I am deathly allergic to mango and the way they are talking about it absolutely horrible. Like yes I want that cleaned out so I don’t die“

A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!“

“I had never heard of this place and saw a Facebook ad today and decided to try it, best decision! I got the vegan Mac n cheese and tofu lunch special and a slice of the vegan black currant cake, everything tastes amazing. “This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious. “Hands down my favorite korean/restaurant in general in the roc area. I’ve been coming here consistently for over 6 years now. I am korean, and this is closest to my grandmothers cooking. I cannot say good enough things about this place. The servers are great, the food is delicious every single time, and the restaurant is cute/cozy. You get what you pay for and more, portions are huge.“

Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.“

“My girlfriends and I love going to Original Steve's Diner in Victor. The restaurant has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs and they give excellent attention and service to patrons. The owner John and his wife Elizabeth have truly mastered the art of upscale diner cuisine. Although many people love the ultra delicious pancakes, I was ecstatic when they added crepes. The cheesecake crepes with berries paired with a side of bacon are the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. I will definitely be a regular customer.“

I do not recommend Nosh, not the same restaurant and feel its a turn for the worst. One out of the four meals one was acceptable we had 12/14/2023.The waitress very sweet but felt she was as frustrated as we were. Vickie the owner made no effort to accommodate us and was almost rude.I will pass this along, is a small coummiity in Rochester. “One of my kids has pretty intense food anxiety and basically is only comfortable eating chicken fingers and fries when we go out to eat. Making it hard on the rest of the family as that limits our dining choices often. We were really excited to find the kids menu here. The sushi, ramen, AND chicken fingers and fries were all excellent, the prices and portions are good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.“
