“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Excellent quality food..easily the best greek/Mediterranean restaurant around. We had babaganoush, sauteed octopus and mixed grill for two. The portions are just right and there was not a single dish that wasnt 10/10. Great service. The place was quiet around 6pm on a Friday and then just exploded with customers. We are happy we just discovered this little gem. And the cherry on top - very inexpensive for what you get. It's tough to beat combo“

“We went to Samdan Mediterranean Restaurant on our last day in New York. We went with 2 kiddos under 10 and ordered the chicken nuggets for them. For the adults, we ordered falafel, tabouli and hummus for an appetizer, and both were very good, had lots of flavor though the portions were smaller than we expected and we needed to ask for the Nan bread.

We followed up with the sultan platter for the table, and it came with rice, we also ordered a bruschetta salad. The portion for the platter was more than enough for 4 adults, and it had an assortment of meats, including lamb, chicken. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of red wine and found the pricing and portion sizes to be good for our group.

Overall, great atmosphere and place to have a nice dinner out for a group of adults.“

“We had the pleasure of having my daughter‘s bridal shower at Aurora restaurant this past weekend. We were so happy with everything! First of all, the staff was so easy to work with and so helpful. The food was delicious. We had a buffet of nine items that everything tasted great and everybody loved it. They were even able to accommodate five people who were gluten-free. The atmosphere was beautiful. The private room was able to accommodate seven tables for me plus a food table and a dessert table and a table for presents. The staff helped us set up and helped us bring things from our car. The beautiful flower wall when you walk in was a perfect backdrop for the photographer. I highly recommend Aurora for a party or for dinner. The actual restaurant and bar is just as great. Thankyou Ennis and staff for a memorable afternoon!!! I could not have asked for anything more!“

“What a gem! Everything about this restaurant is lovely. The music transports you to Italy or Spain, the ambience and the interior is charming, the service is excellent. The pear salad is perfect. Fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of dressing and ingredients. I had the margarita pizza. It is well made with the perfect blend of sauce and cheese on a house made crust. I had the Kahlua panna cotta and it was delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.“

“I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods.
