“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“First time at Thurston Seafood after an airport drop off of a friend. I have a love for seafood ~ fried being at the top of my list. I also grew up having kin that knew how to prepare and cook fresh seafood. It’s all about the coating when fried. You need just the right amount of seasoning to bring out the flavor, not overpower it. My ocean perch and seafood was cooked just right, but it was missing something. I found it to be a bit bland (but still good!); the same w/the french fries as they needed just a touch of salt. I think a light hand w/some seafood seasoning mix would have made the generous portioned meal perfect.
The woman that took my order was very nice. The place appeared to be quite clean (it is take out only), and there was a fairly steady steam as I ate my meal in the parking lot, finishing just before 5:00 pm.“

“Went right at opening and the owner and staff were taste testing dishes for the evening. It was great to see how much the owner and staff cared about the food.. Lily was the server and she was knowledgeable on the wine and food selection. I noticed they do allow bringing your own wine if that interests you. The oysters came predressed, which I didn't like at first but changed my mind once I ate, just don't put lemon on the vinegar dressed ones! Mussels were awesome, could've drank the broth. Octopus was actually a pasta dish served in a red sauce, doesn't say this on the menu, I only ordered because I saw the staff sample it. The clams looked amazing but was unfortunately too full to try. All in all great experience and will be back!“

“We went to Angelina’s for dinner on Halloween night. Impeccable is how I would describe the experience. The drink menu was incredible, food was truly shareable with portion sizes that reflect the price.
The carrots and the arancini are heavenly and not to be missed. I was so into the meal that I forgot to take photos, save one of the short rib!

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“I came here on a recommendation from a friend. It was very good but not great. I ordered a rum cocktail that was delightful along with a papaya winter salad and duck ragout special. I sat at the bar. The place was jam packed with people. The salad took almost 40 minutes to arrive and the meal took an hour. That was understandable given the crowd. The salad had amazing flavors but was just a bit too spicy for me. I like spicy too but this was more than I like. The duck ragout special was delicious but way too salty. I am also a salt lover so this was surprising. The waitress comped my drink which was nice because of the wait. I really want to go again because there were lots of things I want to try. I just need to plan a much more leisurely dinner and go with a friend. It was too dark to read a book.“

“We just held our daughter’s wedding reception at the Max of Eastman Place and I have to say thank you for all you did to provide the perfect venue for our special celebration. The staff was attentive and a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Everything was amazing and our guests had a wonderful evening. The food was spectacular and the ambience both inside and outside in the court yard was the perfect setting. Everybody felt truly blessed with the entire evening. “The Delmonico was cooked perfect. I don’t like seared steak so I asked the waitress Erin if I could get it charbroiled and she said I could. Erin was very invested in my meal. I always ask for a fatty cap of ribeye and she wrote it just the way I asked for it charbroiled medium rare fatty cap. And it came to me just the way I asked for it. It was delicious. I asked Erin for oil and vinegar and cheese for my bread she brought it all out. Erin stopped by several times for refills on drink and more cheese and bread. She did an awesome job. Give her a raise and if you get lucky enough to have her as your waitress leave her a review because she deserves it. great job Erin and also thank you to the Chef for cooking it perfect. Restaurant was clean and food was awesome!“

“I more than pleasantly enjoyed my experience at this local restaurant. The environment was friendly helpful and best of all delicious. Personally i ordered the general tsos chicken and it was one of my favorite dishes i’ve had in this area. I loved it so much me and my family came back next week and again very very very delicious. This place has some good quality and i would eat there if im stopping by pittsford or even if you’re a local.“
