“I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to in this case. Pantano’s of Plainview catered my baby shower this past weekend. The food was amazing!! Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

“My husband and I, likes Umberto’s of Plainview. We’ve been here a couple of years and the food is always great. The place is clean and give you large portion especially the mixed seafood with pasta, it’s delicious! The people who works at this location are super nice. We are a fan, highly recommended!😘“

“The food is sooo delicious and its not like eating traditional diet food! The meals are sooo tasty and u just want more!! When I eat them I feel I am not eating diet foods at all!! I commend Debbie and her entire staff for making these tremendous meals!!! Her entire staff greats u and works with u in picking your food meals and can accommodate you in making special orders!!! “This isn’t your regular deli — the new owners are serving up delicious Korean-inspired food that’s worth a try. I had the tuna kimbap and it was fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the mood for something different.“

“My friend and I were very impressed w our visit, as the food was very fresh and a visiting family said they enjoy coming here. Also I love duck sauce and the waitress told us they make their own. It was better than the packaged.???
Vegetarian options: There was a nice variety to pick from.
Parking: The place is in-between several other store near a pizza parlor. The parking was slightly limited in the lot but there is some street parking.
Kid-friendliness: We saw one young person there but he told us he enjoyed coming here.“

“Since 1996 I have been coming here to Fireside Caterers, and the food here is simply outstanding! Everything is fresh and wonderful, but their chicken cutlet Parmesan hero is probably the best I ever had, anywhere. Fresh cutlets and homemade sauce, on soft hero rolls, this really is the standard that your local deli or pizza joint should be holding itself up to. Counter service is ok 9/10, the tall woman doing checkout is very fast and keeps it moving, but not very friendly— don’t sweat it, it’s NY. Nearly 30 years now I’ve been coming here and I am telling you this is like a super-deli, calling themselves Caterers, don’t let that stop you- I’d eat here every day if I could. Phenomenal eatery. You will never see lunch the same again. I love it.
Parking: Parking spots are a little tight and disjointed, but always available“

“Walked in, seated immediately, told wait staff we had about 45 minutes to eat and she was EXCEPTIONAL! Ordered one of the chicken press w/ cheese tomato & guac and it was great! Fries too. GF bun for wife was meh. Got in & out in 45 minutes. Reasonable prices & good portions as we each went home with extra food. Highly recommend!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns available but not high quality unfortunately. No dedicated fryer for GF foods.“
