“This is such a nice McDonald's. The staff are super friendly and on top of things. They genuinely seem to enjoy working there and with their coworkers. Someone took the time to help my kids today get exactly the Happy Meal toy they wanted. Superb service. ?“
“This was our first time at the restaurant. What a great experience!!! From the food to the service, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The restaurant met our expectations and beyond! The food was flavorful and the servers attention was extraordinary. While we live on the other side of the Hudson, we are already planning our next trip. Thanks for bringing a slice of the island to Hudson Valley.Shout out to Samantha for her amazing recommendations. The portions were so big, we couldn’t eat it all because we were also saving room for desert. Our only regret was we didn’t get to try the coquito cheesecake as they were all out. But at least we have something to look forward to on our next visit!“
“Ready Coffee is our home away from home. Any one you visit you're met with an incredibly personable staff who is always light hearted and has tons of smiles to give. Their coffee and teas are amazing. There's something for everyone in the family including the doggy! Absolutely would recommend Ready Coffee to anyone. It's a hidden treasure of the Hudson Valley!Parking: You can either park and walk up to the window or go through the drive thru.Kid-friendliness: The staff is very personable to children, they engage, listen, and make the entire ordering process fun for children.“
“Delicious, affordable coffee with great service! They have seasonal items that are all delicious. They usually come out to your car in the drive thru to take ur order and they are so efficient! I've never waited more than a few minutes for my coffee. Coffee is smooth, rich, and delicious. I'm always satisfied with their drinks and it's in a convenient location.“
“BLT with Avocado ($11), comes with a side a chips. Straight up... Whoever made this sandwich, made it for themselves! It was huge and delicious. The B, L & the T were fresh and crispy! The bread was soft and the avocado & mayo were creamy and held everything together! I got the Green Tea Kombucha. I was nervous - but it was GOOD if you like Kombucha *but expensive*. The coffee smelled scrumptious, but I'll have to try that next time when I not eating their huge sandwiches. THUMBS UP! Rating based off my first time there and my sandwich.“
“I met a friend for coffee. I was hungry, so I was hoping for food as well. Fortunately, they had a breakfast sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread. The coffee was delicious, no sugar necessary. Busy place, but we had a table and were able to chat and people watch. I also had two pastries. One was dolce of something or other. Three days later it was still delicious.“
“Just had breakfast at Underground this morning. They have been closed in the morning since Covid but now have new owners. The coffee was just as good as it used to be and the breakfast was much better. It’s great to have a good coffee shop and breakfast spot again in Highland. I did stop in for dinner when the new owners had just taken over but they were out of a lot of things and hadn’t gotten their liquor license yet. It looks like they are still working on getting beers in tap but they do have cans and bottle of beer and wine now. The breakfast really was very good. The best spot for breakfast in Highland now for sure. I’ll leave another review the next time we go for dinner to see if they have gotten all the wrinkles ironed out. We got the eggs Benedict with spinach and the breakfast tacos.“
“Well, for starters I will apologize for not posting photos. I was with a hungry crowd at peek lunchtime on a Sunday. I am not from the area and spent the morning taking grandchild to Trevor Zoo, it was a 1hour 25 minute trip and I will return sans grandchild and zoo to enjoy this wonderful place. Heirloom tomato, turkey BLT, Brie with turkey sandwiches were otherworldly and the 3 year old practically inhaled his BBQ chicken quesadilla! Everything prepared with freshest local ingredients with incredible attention to detail for maximum flavor. Totally worth any weight and/or road-trip“
“I come here very often because they have a very cute themed drink menu that my kids love. Lots of unique flavors and options for boba.Would be five stars but a huge bummer they don’t have a customer bathroom. I also wish the traditional boba tasted fresher!“
“Food was great! Service was very responsive. The atmosphere was lovely. This restaurant is a great option for everything from a casual date to a formal outing. My favorite table was in the corner window side overlooking walkway over the hudson.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“This is really a (cute!) clothing/accessories store with a coffee shop in the front.I had a slice of the chocolate banana bread, which was out-of-this-world good. Very friendly barista, and adorable coffee shop pup. I had no trouble finding a spot at one of the three tables on Friday afternoon. If you’re hoping to do work here, just be aware there’s no free wifi. I also didn’t see an outlet where I could plug in my laptop.“
“Small specialty shop that creates deciduous edible artwork! Oreo doughnuts....German chocolate doughnuts....apple cider doughnuts! They're all amazing!! You must go & find out for yourself!Parking: Ample free parking behind the shops.“
“Overall, we really like Zoe‘s. The ice cream is delicious, pricey yes but considering it’s fresh, it’s worth it. The brownie sundae is ridiculously delicious and serves 2 (unless you don’t want to share). They usually have one or two dairy free flavors, which I appeciate as someone who is unfortunately newly diagnosed as lactose intolerant. I haven’t had too much of their hot food menu, but the lamb burger is consistently delicious and well seasoned & cooked, and my son enjoys their hotdogs and fries. It can get very busy during the summer, so I wish they had more tables on the grass during the busy season. The staff members are always polite and helpful. My one annoyance is that the cashiers, in all of my visits, NEVER give a receipt. This irks me, and as an adult, there’s really nothing stopping me from asking for it. When I went this past Saturday with my son for lunch, I had two separate transactions, one for the hot food and then later one for ice cream. There is a sign on the counter noting a 3.99% discount for cash. I paid cash for the food but have no idea if I actually received the discount because the cashier told me the total and I handed her the money. When it came time to get the ice cream, I used my credit card. Please don’t make your customers ask for a receipt and if you’re going to post a sign with a discount for cash, be sure to apply it.“
“What can I say the drive through issues have been resolved with some well placed caution cones, and as a result, the lines move more swiftly. Overall, it was a good experience and quick service with only the occasional out of stock items. One quick note to those putting orders together.... please put cake pops in a separate bag and NOT in the same bag with the 'heated up' sandwiches because the frosting on the cake pops melt.... every time. The bags are thin, and when put next to each other, the pops melt every time. It didn't happen once, It happens every time I order!“
“It was busy for the pleasant valley parade and these young adults kept the line going, their people skills, and getting the job done was on point. A kid spilled hot chocolate, mom let them know and left, the guy nicely thanked her and kept his cool and cleaned it and back behind the counter. Phenomenal crew. 12/2/23“
