“Pretty, simple and early American style farmhouse overlooking the tranquil fields between Auburn and Skaneatales serves sophisticated, new American cuisine with the freshest ingredients. (The family's farm stand opens nearby in summer so they know fresh ... ) We loved our delicately spiced duck and crab-stuffed haddock dishes with perfectly cooked asparagus! Had a yummy house made pizza with artichoke hearts to start. Our wait person recommended the Thirsty Owl Riesling to pair with them, great choice. Desserts sounded amazing but we could not eat any more!!“

“Solid and large selection of home beers, visiting drinks, cocktails and wine, and NA options. Also the very best Cream Ale around no joke. Drink menu well done with multiple size options and pricing.Food menu also solid in diversity but local high quality ingredients really shine whether you’re looking for traditional pub food, ethnic options, or vegan fare.Would’ve taken some pictures but too busy living in the moment.“

“This is your quintessential family restaurant in the heart of America. Everything from meatloaf to lasagna, stuffed pork chops to burgers. We had 1 strawberry shake that was enough for 2 people & if you are still hungry they have many pies for dessert. I think our waitress was one of the owners. They took good care of us with their American comfort food! Very economical & worth the stop!“

“They have a parking lot across the street from the restaurant for customers. The entrance is a bit narrow into the building. I ordered the broccoli with fettuccine noodles my friend ordered the lasagna with sausage added on. We also ordered the escargot appetizer. The escargot came in mushrooms. It was pretty good. My broccoli on fettuccine was ok. It didn't seem to have any type of sauce on it. It was steamed broccoli, mushrooms, pimentos and onion over fettuccine with a dusting of shredded Parm. The broccoli was cooked just the way I liked it. My friends lasagna was really good. I had the salad as my side with crumbley blue and Italian dressing. My friend had the beef barley soup as his side. Both were good. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Also if you get a soda they do charge you for refills. I recommend calling the day before and making a reservation. We called the night of and luckily they were able to find us a spot.Parking: Located across the street.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu .“

“My girlfriend brought me here for my birthday, it was pretty empty when we went in and it looked like there was only one guy working there and he took our order quickly we got the Mac and Cheese and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo with garlic bread( which had green butter lol completely threw us off but it was very good) we got a round of shots before we left and I got a free one for my birthday. They were playing music and there are little games in there too everything on the menu looked really good and what we got was absolutely amazing we will be coming here again for sure!“

“Moro's Table is a regular on our dining rotation, but may get slotted more frequently after trying the week's special "polpo". The octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked to a sublime tenderness, grilled, and served with asiago potato slices and an ancho-guajillo sauce. It brought us back a few nights later for a second go-around, and our guests, new to octopus, raved as well. Dinner on our first visit include seared scallops, perfectly cooked and plump and flavorful, and on our second visit pan-seared sablefish and a medium-rare ribeye. Chef Ryan is doing a wonderful job in the kitchen, and all of our menu items and specials have been delicious. We were fortunate to have Josh as our server, and our bartender. The Sidecars were delicious, and his dinner suggestions a hit.If you've never tried grilled octopus, this is the place to try it. We're hoping it finds its way onto the regular menu. Their legendary braised beef short ribs are an easy "go to", but the specials are at least as compelling.“

“Best breakfast in Auburn!! My Nucor teammates recommended me to visit here & im so glad I did! I got to sit next to the owner at the counter & he shared his story & also had me try honey in my coffee instead of sugar. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & the service was awesome!“
“You must visit this pure gem of a lounge. Bands are fantastic, easy crowd to mingle with and be comfortable around and Lynn is the absolute best bartender/ owner I have had the pleasure to meet in all my years being in the restaurant business myself. Truly an enjoyable evening out and I look forward to many more!!“
“Balloons is the real deal. They come to their ambiance and reputation honestly - built over decades. The food is always excellent and well prepared. The service is always friendly and attentive. Great for steak lovers but don't sleep on the rest of the menu including their traditional Italian specialties. If you get stumped by the expansive menu, just order the Rattlesnake Pasta. If it's your first time at Balloons don't let the neighborhood or well-worn rooms dissuade you. Have a seat, order a Manhattan and some Utica Greens and revel in what every restaurant should be - local, legitimate and lovely.“

“Went here for the first time, and LOVED IT!! They actually have HASH BROWNS!!! Yes!!!! You can pick with or without onions. I got onions and not just small cut ones, I mean chunky onions!! They also have home fries too. I ordered the corn beef hash, two over easy eggs, ( made over easy very happy ), toast, and the large side of hash browns with onions with some coffee that had a great taste. All of this with a tip was affordable!! Place is cozy and small and welcoming. I will come here again for breakfast to try other items on the menu like the garbage plate, and several options with pancakes!!“

“Happy days is a nice little place to stop for ice cream and some comfort food. The ice cream is Perry's and always very delicious. They have good sized portions for the cold stuff and also sell food items such as hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders and more. They sell soda and other drinks too and they have a nice little indoor dining room to enjoy it all in case it rains or if you wanna cool off. The outdoor dining area is always clean and they each have tables with umbrellas to sit under to get out of the sun. The staff and owners are always friendly and do a great job keeping things clean and running smoothly. There is a big parking lot with plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible spots as well. The vibe is cool and you will enjoy your time spent at the Happiest place in Meridian. ?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly but severely lacks anything for kids to do but eat ice cream and food. Would be nice to put a little playground or a little play area nearby.Parking: Lots of parking spaces with plenty of parking near the front.“

“Busy decor - could sit there for a couple hours and not register everything adorning this place. Server was friendly and attentive. Only had finger foods, but it was good. The spiked hot cocoa was delicious, and perfect on a cold snowy day, but was more expensive than I expected, so a little sticker shock when the bill came. Would go back though; fun place.“

“A+ eatery in all regards. I’ve begun bringing my vegetarian teen in regularly for special 1x1 days. I’ve loved every menu item I’ve ordered, as has my teen. The atmosphere is wonderful. The lighting is bright. The dining area is spacious and quiet. This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and have a peaceful moment. And how wonderful that proceeds benefit the theater (scholarships for students). Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Great food, even for teens!“
“As a truck driver I drive the Thruway a lot and with coffee shops not being open late this is one of my go-to stops. Mainly because they actually have cookies there that they bake .in house. If you're looking for a coffee and a treat fix definitely want to make a stop here. It is inside the pit stop gas station. And they also have food that is made to order. I will say I do wish they had some pizza out late at night but otherwise good service good coffee and good cookies“

“Nice sized place in Auburn, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a bar on one side of the building and the dining is on the other. Every wall has multiple TVs going with different sporting events. The menu is large and varied, plus they had a separate page of lunch specials. The Goulash Bread Bowl was very good, as was their version of a garbage plate. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.“

“The food is good like always. The wait was so long. It said my food would be done in 20 minutes. I ordered to go and still waited over an hour. This was about 515 they said my food would be ready. The dinning room wasn't full so they must have had a lot of on line orders for dinner.“

“My family and I absolutely loved it here. The food was fantastic. Our waitress was super friendly and paid especially good attention to the kids. There was a man singing and playing guitar. He was fantastic. Had the kids dancing in their seats while we waited for our food and while we ate. Will be back again!“
