“I discovered this Chinese restaurant one day when I was in Port chester doing some shopping and going to the movies. I've been here a number of times now. It's along Westchester Avenue where there is a selection of various cuisines.The food is delicious and it's not greasy. I love the rice, its bright yellow and full of flavor. The chicken used in the sesame and general tso are fried just right and not too hard. I personally don't eat Chinese all the time and when I do I usually stand outdoors while my food cooks because you can smell the heavy grease inside and down the street. But at Panda I'm able to stand inside to wait for my food because it doesn't smell. This is a cash only place so make sure you have plenty. The man behind the counter is nice and he speaks Spanish which is nice for the customers that visit. Its not a place really to stay long and eat because there's 4 tables. I take my food to go. They also do not deliver.

If there is any Setback, it's the Limited Parking as there are only Nine Parking Spaces for Seven Businesses! However, there is Ample Street Parking! There is Limited Seating as the Restaurant is not very big! However, the Very Tasty and Affordably Priced Food more than makes up for these Minor Setbacks!“

“This is the most horrible restaurant place I've ever ordered from. I ordered and picked up in store. I ordered "Roast Pork with Chinese vegetables" I specifically asked if the vegetables included bok choy and was assured that it did. When I got home with the food the only vegetable included with the Pork was celery. Just a container of pork and celery, another time I ordered BBQ Ribs and it was a very small order and some of them were burned. When I questioned the counter person he answered that they had run out. Then why did they sell, and charge me an order? Don't order food from this place, If you want to enjoy it, it is BAD and they.“

The chicken and broccoli came with plenty of broccoli (which we appreciated), and the roast pork had great flavor without being fatty. “After years of eating at all the local spots (Bamboo Garden, Peking, and New Great Wall) I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in White Plains. The extra drive is absolutely worth it. Portions are “old school” big, prices run about $2 to $3 less than other places, and they always throw in something extra for free. The egg rolls taste just like the ones you remember as a kid, and the boneless spare ribs were superb (IMO). My wife, who usually gets headaches when MSG is used, had no issues here, which says a lot. I went to pace university for 4 years and this was one of my favorite restaurants.They have the best Crab lagoon/ fried cheese wanton, fried chicken and fried rice. I have tried crab rangoon at so many other restaurants and none can compare to Ons. I aways get disappointed. I was pregnant a few weeks ago and had the worst craving for the wanton. I drove over an hour to get it every time and wanted to cry tears of joy. The only downsides are that they only take cash, the place looks so old and the bathroom is dirty.“

I found a gem right in my own backyard. Panda Garden is a cut above the rest when it comes to Chinese food. The quality is excellent, the flavors are on point, and the portions are generous. Honestly, it might be the best I’ve had in Stamford so far.

I’ve tried a few different items from here and they’ve all been hits:
• Chicken Egg Foo Young – flavorful, and the gravy ties it all together perfectly.
• Pork Fried Rice – savory with good quality pork.
• Beef and Broccoli – tender beef, rich sauce, and fresh broccoli.
• Half Chicken and French Fries – not greasy at all, crispy fries, and a solid portion.
• Pork Egg Rolls – some of the best I’ve had anywhere, big and full of flavor.
• Spare Ribs – juicy, good flavor, and great size.

The restaurant is pretty spacious inside, clean, and brightly lit, which makes it a comfortable spot to dine in. The staff is friendly, and there’s convenient parking right out front and around the side.

My only complaint is that it can be a little pricey for what it is, but the flavor and quality make up for it.

Overall, Panda Garden delivers great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. If you’re craving Chinese, skip the chains and give this place a try — you’ll probably end up coming back like I did.“

“As far as I know, this is the best Chinese food in the area. Tried all the others and as far as taste and quality, New China 3 seems to be on point. My only criticism would be they use the yellow rice to come across as fried rice, but lots of places do that and the rice is tasty. Their beef with black bean (hold the peppers and onions) was really tasty and they don't try and cheap out on the meat like other places nearby do, you get your money's worth with them!“

However, pickup has never failed me. They pack the containers to the top and do not skimp on the portions.

The fried rice that came with the combo didn't look appealing (too brown in color) but ended up being very good. Most often, Chinese take out dishes are swimming in sauce so I asked that the shrimp and broccoli be cooked in little sauce. It was done to perfection!
