“Been there twice. Had Omelette and burrata Avacado toast. Hazelnut latte. All were delicious! Their coffee is top notch. Service is the problem. They do not have enough wait staff, baristas, maybe even cook staff. The one waitress they have literally is everywhere. First time, long wait for food and second time, long wait for coffee…Went during the week both times and many customers come in for coffee to go… strongly suggest more baristas to handle both seated customers and to-go-customers These issues make me hesitate to come again even though the food and coffee are great! ?? There are plenty of other good breakfast/brunch spots nearby that are just as busy that don’t have these service issues. If fixed, this would be my main stay spot for brunch!“

“Went here yesterday for their Cinco de Mayo celebration, and I’m glad we did! Starting at 6p they had a Mexican mariachi band, and it was such good entertainment.The restaurant was packed as you would expect on this day, but the service was phenomenal. It didn’t matter whose table we were assigned to, everyone helped in all different stages of our meal.We started off with a coconut margarita and a peach margarita. They were good and you could taste the alcohol that put in there.The second and third coconut margarita came with real coconut in the drink, and that definitely was a seller for us.They start off with fresh made tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The salsa was fresh and great flavor, however if you can handle even a tiny bit of spice, I wouldn’t have it. It got hotter the more you ate it.We ordered their ‘alitas con chipotle’ which is their chicken wings, and oh goodness they were great. Only thing I have to say is they are double fried and on the smaller side, but their chipotle sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever tasted in my life. It is on the hotter side, but to me personally it was not too bad, the the flavor was bursting in my mouth. We actually ordered another side of the sauce for the wings because it was practically drinkable as is, and then another side for our entrees.We ordered ‘camarones caribeños’ which is their coconut shrimp with fries and salad. The coconut shrimp had appeared to be burnt when it was set on the table, however they weren’t and it was delicious. We dipped the coconut shrimp into the chipotle sauce… and that is what this place should offer with this dish. The sweet and savory together really burst in your mouth. The fries were typical fries, soft and could’ve been fried a tad more.We also ordered their ‘fajitas en Sartén’ with chicken. It came out sizzling with green peppers, onions, and tomatoes with a plate of guacamole, refried beans, rice and sour cream. We poured the chipotle sauce on the fajitas, and once again, we were baffled with the taste fusion.We loved this sauce so much that I told our waitress that I would buy the sauce if they were willing to sell it to me. I asked her to give me however much she could, and she gave me 4oz.We additionally ordered the ‘flan de tres leches’ and it tasted like a flan, and less like tres leches.Overall, would come back here in a heart beat.“

“While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! The food is extremely fresh and there is a great sense of pride in their product. We loved our experience here and we will absolutely return when we come back in August!!“

“This Dunkin’ is very efficient! I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was super quick and smooth drive thru order. I got a strawberry donut, an avocado toast and a small chocolate shake. Everything was great and it was quick! The parking lot is def another issue as the shopping strip itself is awkward but I had a great experience.“

I have been going to this place for several years and I am always happy with my breakfast sandwich. I'm in and out in less than 8 minutes. Good flavorful sandwich, with crispy bacon, and soft bagel. Every time I go to Dunkin up the road because it's across from my office, I'm disappointed and delayed. Yesterday at Dunkin, it took 20 minutes for me to get a PREMADE chorizo and egg wrap, that was still ice cold in the center. I will GLADLY take the slight detour to NY Bagel, as it's worth it.“

“You know what you’re getting when you shop at Whole Foods.. A huge selection of wonderful health food products, great fresh organic produce, healthy prepared foods (including pizza, sushi and a huge salad bar).... But all of these come with a HUGE price tag.. That’s just the reality of shopping here.. Their acquisition by Amazon/Bezos hasn’t dropped the prices either.. If you are savvy and pay close attention to their prices you can really do well by shopping here.. You’ll occasionally find sale or discounted items that offer great savings, and if you’re an Amazon Prime member you can save a percentage on your entire purchase. But ultimately there are certain things that you can buy here that you just won’t find anywhere else.. For our family it’s definitely worth the effort and the trip.. Although we always combine our shopping trips here with a stop (first!) at Trader Joe’s across the street.. Its helpful to check their selection and prices first, and pay a little more at Whole Foods for the few items that you can only find here.. Besides the high prices, shopping at the Lake Grove Whole Foods location is a great way to support and supplement a healthy diet and lifestyle of you live on the East End of Long Island..“
