“This is a Chinese kitchen with all the basic offerings. I love the Mapo tofu. Young chow fried rice. Hot and spicy chicken dishes. The butterfly shrimp is not the classic Cantonese egg, onions, bacon, tomato sauce version. The fantail shrimp are enormous. Very attentive, polite staff. Great prices.Vegetarian options: Fried tofu in garlic sauce, Mapo tofu, broccoli in garlic sauce, string beans in garlic sauce.Parking: Park right along the street or walk over from where you live.“

In Brooklyn, everything is half the size and twice the price!!! The egg rolls, dumplings, fried wantons were just like I remember back in the day! “Great deal at $12.95/person for lunch. Appreciate that they asked us if we wanted to upgrade for dinner instead of charging it automatically (my dad and I arrived close to the cutoff). Unlimited hot tea was $1.50. No complaints at all, go here if you're in the mood for Chinese in the Pike County area.“

“Your typical take out spot. The food was fresh and typical for what it is. They were very busy when I stopped in to grab some dinner to go, but still putting out orders quickly. For a family of four, I ordered the beef chow fun, hot and sour soup, some dumpling and a spring roll. The spring roll was not very good, but the dumplings and chow fun were both very delicious.“

However, our cravings for Chinese food led us to give it a try regardless as we were only passing through this town tonight. The reviews did prepare us well for what to expect, particularly regarding the customer service. While we did find the service efficient and prompt, I can empathise with the reviewers who felt it lacked ‘warmth and hospitality’. Despite this, our food portions were spot on, the food was flavourful and fresh.
