Every dish was great. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident. Pair that with their impressive drink selection--especially their sangria--and you have an evening to remember.

The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations. They made us feel like we were the only table in the house, even though the place was buzzing.

Tavern 157 is the perfect spot for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just indulging in amazing food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true five-star experience!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“This place is so aesthetic and the tea tastes absolutely amazing. Enjoyed this quaint establishment around 11pm. The Zhu Cha was a nice experience but only really worth it for the tea and if you are staying for a long time, which is what it was intended for. The snacks are distinguishable and unfortunately not very suitable for the tea we chose. Not sure it was worth $60+ dollars for tea and $2 snacks.“

The food was delicious, especially the Grilled Pork Belly.It was so flavorful and definitely a must-try!I also tried the Nagasaki Seafood Casserole Soup, and it was amazing! The soup was rich and flavorful, packed with seafood goodness.I highly recommend it if you love seafood.One of the highlights of New Zurang is their karaoke room, which is spacious and a lot of fun. “The owner shows love when he is not busy, not everyone in the restaurant can speak english but the menu is written in english. I traveled to the Dominican Republic & Colombia. I'm big on chofan de pollo (Spanish/Chinese fried rice with chicken) theirs version is pretty good.“

It is a quintessential community institution - where even if you are new to the village, you will be made to feel at home! “The best Asian Bistro in town! I went for happy hour and the staff was so friendly. I had the soup dumplings and fresh sushi. Service was quick and easy. I highly recommend. The largest party room I’ve ever seen. I asked the manager and he said you can project anything on the screen on the wall. I will book my next event here.“

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“I went to SCRV today for the first time after like a year of wanting to go. This is a fire place in the neighborhood that I probably won't go back to because of the people that goes. Dudes be standing on the wall instead of dancing...that's to say, the ratio is pretty good.. A downside (like the first sentence wasn't one) is it closes at 1 AM at least on Fridays. Furthermore...some of the the women are scheming, trying to sell you on the next spot (spoiler: $100 bottles that really cost 30-40 max which would be fine but... They also charge cover-they don't tell you that part.) Additionally, they'll surely call you broke if you opt out of being swindled.

TLDR: Go to SGRV but not wherever else anyone tell you to go. My honest opinion.“
