My wife and I had the pork buns, fried shrimp rings and the tom yum fried rice with Chinese sausage and crab. I highly recommend all 3 but if you’re in for 1 plate, do the fried rice. “I stopped at Durian on a whim while searching for food nearby, and I’m so glad I did! Initially, I was a little hesitant, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for lunch that day.

The lunch special is not only reasonably priced but also offers a fantastic variety of dishes: chicken, shrimp, steak — heads up: the shrimp is at an extra cost though. The portion sizes are generous.

The staff is genuinely warm, funny, and kind, making you feel right at home. Dinning option available. They go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, which is a rarity these days. example; i’m allergic to poultry and eggs. when ordering the tea she double checked if my egg allergy is tried with diary such as milk. That was so thoughtful!

“My grandma and I always go here and get pad Thai with mock duck. The food is heavenly! Anything good you could say about the food is true! The duck is crispy on the outside and buttery melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and the flavor of the sauce is just incredible! The glass noodles are light and have a perfect texture. The regular noodles are filling and also perfect. Oh- and the peanut sauce that comes with the salad is the best peanut sauce you could ever imagine! It’s so addicting, and has a tad kick to it (I think you can only get that at lunch though). My grandma and I only ate there in person a couple times, but the service was great, considering how crowded the restaurant always is (I think the fact that it’s always stuffed to the brim is a sign of a good restaurant :). They had good vibes and a really chill aesthetic. We always get the food delivered, and it comes in a really short amount of time. My grandma also loves this food; we get food that’s not spicy, because we are both sensitive to spice (but if you like spice, they have dishes with that too). I wanted to think of something I didn’t like here, but I can’t! All in all, eat here!! (Also, hack for more duck; when asking for extra mock duck, ask for it in a separate container; that way you can see just how much you’re getting, and they can’t skimp! The logic behind this is when there’s an already full container full of food, you can’t add that much more duck; so when you have a separate container, they can fill it all the way up!)“

Fish was super fresh, rice was made so well. My favorite piece was the otoro, and my mom's was the seabream. Pictured is the otoro and scallop because I was impressed by the scoring on the scallop. Rice to fish ratio was ON POINT - not much rice, good size piece of fish. Dessert was actually scrumptious - loved the mochi-wafer and the vanilla gelato was delicious. “I love this place. The steamed chicken always tastes just right. The fried chicken is delicious in comparison to Pekin. Other places undercook the steamed chicken or make dry over fried chicken. But here they don’t. The General Tsos’s is really good too. As is the sweet and sour chicken. I like they offer cheese fried wontons which are excellent. Occasionally the steamed broccoli is a little mushy but not always . The garlic sauce changed however and it’s way too strong. Too much fresh garlic. That’s my only complaint. I also wish they would put fortune cookies in the bag too but that’s not anything serious lol. The delivery is always fast and order taker is always nice and remembers my order. It’a take out/delivery spot, so just be aware it’s not a traditional restaurant. But they do have 2 tables and some chairs. It’s pretty chill in there and I occasionally have sat to eat there.“

They could be a little friendlier on a consistent basis, which has affected some reviews. However, they aren't rude. Overall, we love the food and it's worth going to as often as we can.“
