“Got some take out for my girl here. Classic general sue chicken . A local shop that is good for the neighborhood. If you ask for extra fortune cookies they don’t even charge you which is nice because I will save them for my daughter as a snack because they are healthy instead of regular cookies. Make sure you get the combo meal as well it is cheaper than ordering chicken and fried rice on the side“

“My wife and I are long time residents of Somers and last we ordered out from Q’s was about a decade ago. Not so good back then…excellent today. What a difference! Our food including soup was exemplary - tasty, not salty and most importantly, fresh! Many thanks and we surely have a new go to for Chinese food.

I found a gem right in my own backyard. Panda Garden is a cut above the rest when it comes to Chinese food. The quality is excellent, the flavors are on point, and the portions are generous. Honestly, it might be the best I’ve had in Stamford so far.

I’ve tried a few different items from here and they’ve all been hits:
• Chicken Egg Foo Young – flavorful, and the gravy ties it all together perfectly.
• Pork Fried Rice – savory with good quality pork.
• Beef and Broccoli – tender beef, rich sauce, and fresh broccoli.
• Half Chicken and French Fries – not greasy at all, crispy fries, and a solid portion.
• Pork Egg Rolls – some of the best I’ve had anywhere, big and full of flavor.
• Spare Ribs – juicy, good flavor, and great size.

The restaurant is pretty spacious inside, clean, and brightly lit, which makes it a comfortable spot to dine in. The staff is friendly, and there’s convenient parking right out front and around the side.

My only complaint is that it can be a little pricey for what it is, but the flavor and quality make up for it.

Overall, Panda Garden delivers great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. If you’re craving Chinese, skip the chains and give this place a try — you’ll probably end up coming back like I did.“

“Nice local spot offering traditional Chinese menu. We ordered Pork Fried Dumplings, and these were flavorful and crisp, as were the Egg Rolls. Our entrees were the Hunan Special, a spicy dish of jumbo shrimp, crab meat, chicken, pork, black mushrooms, and vegetables, and the Happy Family with similar ingredients minus the spicy kick. Both were prepared well and fresh. We opted to dine in, and the tables were clean and well lit.“

The price is a bit steep but the quality makes up for it. Wouldn't recommend going there by yourself, bring a friend especially if your dining in. If your taking out, avoid common times for lunch in dinner, once had my food delayed 10 minutes. Also, there aren't a lot of seats partly due to lack of space, so if you want to hold a party, don't even bother trying to done in, just get take out and it shouldn't take too long for them to get the order prepared unless it's 1-1:30 or 6-7, those are the common times for delay from what I've experienced. If your wondering how much you can expect to spend, it should be around 12-18 dollars per person I would say. Look at their menu and prices online if your concerned. Overall, good place, great food, nice staff, can do better on interior.“

“I order from this place every time I'm looking for a relaxing night in without cooking, cleaning and anything else other than tipping the driver and getting my grub on. The prices are more than decent when considering the quality and great taste. This is my go to when It's cold outside and I worked all day and I have that half bottle of wine wasting away in the cabinet. Can't beat it !“

“I love Tzen. I ordered from them on a weekly basis. They have a great lunch menu. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I always get the sushi and sashimi lunch combo with a spicy tuna roll instead. And a hot and sour soup, which is very very good. Their wonton soup is also very good and a generous portion. I believe they make their own wonton dumplings for the soup. Their hot food lunch menu is also a great deal and delicious.“
