“I’m not from the area, but I was at a work function and they ordered from here. I just got the dumplings and I brought it home. My husband and I thought they were great. The next time I was in the area for work I got 2 combination dinners and dumplings and brought them homefor dinner. In OUR opinion..and we’re both 59 years old…this is probably the best Chinese food we’ve had. Highly recommend!“

“This place is a hidden gem in Norwalk (in my opinion). The soup dumplings were delicious. We also had the vegetable pan fried dumpling, dan dan noodles and a side of bok choy.

Everything was well prepared and tasted fresh, especially the bok choy. My only recommendation would be to swap out the dan dan noodles and instead get the Japanese ramen which is more like a lo mein. 10/10 will be back again soon.“

“I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. Yuki Kitchen is a tiny but mighty source for authentic Asian food. Don’t drive by it….“

“I ordered general tso combo, it came with an egg roll and fried rice. I would recommend especially because the prices are reasonable and the quality was good. I really enjoyed the flavors. The food was cooked well and I like how light the fried rice was, not greasy. The egg roll was crispy and delicious. I will definitely order again ?“

“Excellent food! I picked up hot and sour soup, an egg roll and shrimp and broccoli today. The soup was excellent with a spicy kick. The egg roll was so crispy but not greasy. The jumbo shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was just right. The best I’ve had in a long time!“

“This place is both amazing and delicious! We had a variety of dishes liek Szechuan dumplings, curry noodles, shrimp tempura, soup, crunchy spicy sushi, etc. ALL WERE AMAZING!! “I've been here at least 10 times. Absolutely DELICIOUS, always fresh, incredible portions, so reasonably priced, and undoubtedly the best poke bowl you'll get within many many tens of miles.

It's a hidden gem, small corner place you'll likely miss many times during your trips to Trader Joe's, but it's my favorite restaurant in Stamford. It's family owned and you'll see the brilliant kids helping their parents in the front register on occasion.

Also, they deliver in house, so you dont need to overpay with Grubhub, etc.

“Really nice people who clearly care about what they do. When you want your dish over noodles this is honestly great Chinese food for a mall environment. They use a little too much corn starch so the sauces are really thick but that's the basis of classic Chinese food.

Portion size is very good for Jumbo Shrimp with Broccoli and Chicken with Broccoli for under $11 over noodles. They serve in Eco containers which is a very nice touch. Overall I'd honestly of the Town Center food court options this and the Indian immediately next door are the best options.“

“Fast delivery, hot good food. At least every time we've had it we've enjoyed it. Also the prices are pretty good. There's a small delivery charge but it's less than the ridiculous fees the delivery apps charge you even with their so called "free delivery". Definitely recommend trying this place out!“

“Great experience. Happened along Darien Hunan Kitchen unexpectedly. So glade we did! Service was fast, friendly and accurate. We only got a couple of the lunch specials, but wow! I haven’t had egg rolls this tasty in years. Perfectly cooked, not greasy and with actual pieces of pork served with a small dish of duck sauce (no stingy packets or a tiny side). General Tso’s chicken was all white meat, not overly breaded and so tasty. Sesame Chicken, asked for some spice to zip it up, again - all white chicken meat …. Perfection! Now I’ll have to find reasons to go to Darien just to come back to this place!“

“Got some take out for my girl here. Classic general sue chicken . A local shop that is good for the neighborhood. If you ask for extra fortune cookies they don’t even charge you which is nice because I will save them for my daughter as a snack because they are healthy instead of regular cookies. Make sure you get the combo meal as well it is cheaper than ordering chicken and fried rice on the side“

“We love Shanghai Gourmet! Recently, we did two very large orders. One for a Christmas get-together and the following weekend for a New Year's Eve get-together. Both orders were ready for pickup on time and well packed with nothing missing. During the year, it is THE place for us when we want to order out and has been for many years. It’s all good, but they do an especially fantastic Singapore Mei Fun (my favorite).“

Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels.

The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out.

The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet.

In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week.“

“I order from this place every time I'm looking for a relaxing night in without cooking, cleaning and anything else other than tipping the driver and getting my grub on. The prices are more than decent when considering the quality and great taste. This is my go to when It's cold outside and I worked all day and I have that half bottle of wine wasting away in the cabinet. Can't beat it !“

I love ordering Chinese food from here.
Granted I have never ordered delivery and it seems like that’s where a lot of the negative reviews are coming from.
However, pickup has never failed me. They pack the containers to the top and do not skimp on the portions.

My favorites are the Beef Lo Mein, Hot and Sour soup, Beef with Garlic Sauce and Moo Shu Pork

Yes at times when I got to pick up the food there is a bit of wait but not more than 10 minutes. They are always busy in the back so I get it.

Im a pickey eater and my childhood fav Chinese take out for some reason stopped listening to my requests on frying my wontons lighty. I like them chewy and soft with a little crispy crunch at the end of each bite. So i had to find a new spot and since i moved 5 years ago Sun Wok makes the taste buds Rock! Friendly atmosphere respectful and Busy! Their prices are decent as well. The steamed vegetable dumplings I really didn't like that much..... they were pretty doughie..... But the chicken fried rice with vegetables is very good and for $10 you get a whole large order for takeout....... I definitely would recommend.... You might have to overlook the ordering process a little........lo Mein was very tasty..noodles were good“
