“Service was okay-ish,they were a bit busy so it makes sense,but there was this specific server who was amazing,he kept checking on us and making sure everything was okay. Food portions are good and definitely try the pancakes! Will be back soon!“

“While in the area trying to kill time, we decided to grab brunch with an outdoor dining since we had our pup with us. Even though their outdoor patio wasn’t setup, there was a single table outside on the corner, which they ended up allowing us to sit at.

Once we sat down, the waitress was quick to bring us utensils and menus. Not only did she bring us water, she also brought ice and water for my dog —this was so generous for her to be so accommodating. For food, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($17) while the boyfriend had the Cheeseburger ($16) with Bacon (+$3). Our food came out quickly and they both also came with potato sides. The fries were super crispy and tasty, but the home fries were just ok.

Overall, the food is mediocre here —nothing to run home about. But what stood out to me here is the service with our waiter specifically. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time.“

“A GEM find in Long Island City. Walking distance from our hotel, perfect little diner for breakfast or lunch. We ordered breakfast for lunch:) the pancakes were some of the best we’ve ever had! I had blueberry pancakes & both of my kids had pancakes. They came out fast and steaming hot, PERFECT. And the prices were so reasonable. This is an a must visit!“

“Hit the spot. I had the “Mexican” Omelette with added ham. Along with what looks to be actual home fries made from actual non processed potatoes.. not the chopped up store bought kind.. Either I was exhausted from walking all day and it being 2 AM, or this food was just that good! Never the less, I will definitely be eating there again!“

“I always eat at Michaels restaurant and love the food. This past Friday, I have to say, it was the best I have ever eaten. Lisa the waitress we sometimes have, said I have really good roast beef and I was debating about getting it. She knows I like my beef med. rare. I ordered it and it was soooooo good. She took such good care of us. This restaurant is really good and I'm glad that Astoria, has the diner.“

“We went for brunch to this restaurant with our grandchildren. We were greeted by the nicest waiters of all time. My husband and I had the Club Sandwich and our grandson had pancakes and bacon. The portions were so generous and quite affordable. Our granddaughter was sleeping in a stroller and the lady who greeted us even helped us tilt the back of her stroller down and find the perfect place to sit to accommodate her. Wonderful place to go for lunch!“

“I love a good Diner and this is my favorite one in NYC as of today. The menu is huge and I can’t wait to try everything. Went this morning and got a Chicken Parm Sandwich and my girlfriend got a Cuban, both were delicious. The Texas fries were so good. You need to try this place (especially if you’re hungover)“

“This place is crack I only discovered it like two months ago and have been back at least 10 times. They take good care, I got a diner right by me but I drive 15-20 minutes to just come here. It’s like an upscale diner with very reasonable prices.“

“It's a small place, I personally like small restaurants, my plate was simple but very good. Had the turkey melt with bacon and avocado on multi grain bread with fries very good. The place was clean and a very nice server. My mother had a torta of steak, and it was delicious.“

“GREAT diner food, very impressed! The French toast was awesome! Grilled was good and the potato skins were delicious and huge! Service was great too. Went back the next morning and tried the skirt steak and eggs. I was surprised at the quality considering its diner food. The steak was very tender and a perfect medium rare. I’ve been back multiple times and have not been disappointed, The different kinds of flatbreads and the moussaka is phenomenal!“

“Visiting Queens and found this spot near the hotel for some brunch. Small mom and pop feel with excellent food. Price wasn't bad for the amount of food you get. Come hungry. Servers were very helpful and friendly. Ended up going back the next day and tried the Uncle Bill's omlet...OMG! Ham, cheese, and gyro meat. Who knew? Most definitely recommend this place.“

“I curated my own delicious salad, consisting of arugula, avocado, red onion, hard boiled egg, cranberries, walnuts, and Swiss cheese with a dollop of goat cheese. It was so delicious and fresh. I ordered it three times in the past week. I also ordered a small fruit salad and an apple pie everything was fresh and very delicious. I also asked them to put some olive oil on the side and it was real olive oil. It was not diluted. I highly recommend this diner. Everything was fresh. I’m much more into arugula now than spinach and the diner just did a wonderful job. I was so happy with my dinner. They delivered it promptly. I would definitely give this diner five stars!!“

“the food is very good but I see that they have that back from their takeout menu from the way it used to be I usually get a cheeseburger deluxe and the price I never had a problem with it but now I have a problem with it because instead of a whole pickle I get too little pickle wedges I get a little cup of coleslaw and I do not get the sesame bun like I used to the food is still good but the things I just said takes away from it for the price I pay.“

“They can do a little better with the Tv suitation, ( 3 very small tv's with the captions going, but if your facing the other way, you are out of luck ) but the service was quick & and the coffee was freshly brewed. Our waiter, " Roy " was on point with the service.“
