“Juan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“The food is amazing! We had the mussels, Brussels sprouts, artichoke hearts, chicken, shepherd’s pie, fish sandwich, and burger. The drinks were wonderful and the ambiance was so much fun. Really had a laugh at the bathroom with all the googly eyes.“

Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

This place has delicious Mexican dishes and drinks also like jarritos, horchata , Jamaica, Tamarindo and yes the pizza is DELICIOUS my favorite is their sicilian pepperoni with hot honey and their Margherita dlice! they also carry hot honey if you care to put it on a dish you like. This place has a variety of four homemade hot sauces. Absolutely delicious and must try .“

“I was visiting family and we came to this restaurant, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The overall atmosphere was comfortable yet classy. Our food was prepared and displayed perfectly and the portion sizes were just right. The owner even came over and talked to us to make sure that we were happy and that we were enjoying ourselves. Definitely would come back, I highly recommend Porta 23.“

“The Beast done did it again. One of my favorite neighborhood spots for smart cocktails, fresh charcuterie boards, and oysters by the dozen, I made a reservation for 4 this past Sunday and I arrived a few minutes early to find the table ready and waiting. Service was great, even with our server pulling double duties tending bar. We ordered up some beer and shot combos, sausage, deviled eggs, and, of course, dozens of oysters. There's not much happier a happy hour can get than this! We reveled in the good atmosphere, tasty nibbles, and refreshing libations. I always have a great time here and this was another perfect visit. 'Til next time!“

“Beautiful interior design, great music selection, great drinks, food variety can improve but still very tasty. Unfortunately, this place is never packed. Great if you don’t like crowds but terrible for their business. If you’re a Queens Native, or LIC resident, add this to your third place options! ~NYC Native“
