Salam Food Cart has been a staple in my foodie journey for many years now.Although I am from the Miami, FL area, it is a tradition for my family to visit NYC almost every year. Next time I think I’ll try a hot dog but I didn’t like the meat. Just felt low quality I ended up throwing the food out sadly. However the guy was nice.The thing that holds the drinks was super super super dirty so I didn’t get a drink.

Out of all the vendors that serve chicken over rice around Jackson heights, personally, this one is the best. The food has an homestyle taste to it, it's not oily and greasy and the sauces(white/hot) don't cause you indigestion or stomach issues. And the price for chicken over rice is relatively cheap for the area.
