“Definitely one of the better Chinese joints in town, food is consistently the same, not good day bad day kinda thing that I notice with some Chinese food places. Only down side is that they don't serve egg foo young which is usually one of my usuals.“

“Looking forward to going back! We had a wonderful meal last night. It was our first time eating at Buono Notte. We were looking for authentic Italian food and we were not disappointed. It was a slow Tuesday evening, which made the experience more intimate. We enjoyed chatting with our server, Lisa.
My husband, a vegetarian, had the pasta primavera with house made fusilli and a marinara sauce. I selected the white clam sauce with angel hair pasta from the specials menu. My husband had a lovely Cabernet and I had a wonderful Chianti. From the house made salad dressings, to the wines, to our entrees we were very pleased and impressed! The entrees were fresh and hot! The food was a close second to the variety of foods we have enjoyed all across Italy.
We will be going back again, and we live nearly an hour away. Worth the drive!“

“We were to meet my son & family in Lake George to celebrate their anniversary Sat 6/24/23. He told us to meet them a the East Cove Restaurant at 5:30pm. They're not there, we go to the bar as we have in the past. Get a drink & ask about the reservation - there is none. We get a phone msg, they told us the told us the wrong restaurant, errrr!. They're at George's which is only 100 yds up the road. "You're killin' me Smalls." After that hiccup everything at George's was excellent. This is a prime rib, steak, & seafood restaurant. Our waitperson, Richard T was pleasant, helpful, & efficient. Two Fiddlehead IPA ($8ea) and two Banfi pinot grigios ($11ea) during our meal. My bride had broiled haddock w/ a side of cauliflower ($28+$4) which was almost double the portion generally served in restaurants. I had the pork shank osso bucco w/ mashed potatoes ($31) and their very popular salad bar. A large & tender shank w/ a very good demi-glace. Very nice offering excellently prepared & served. "Our steaks and ribs are hand cut and house seasoned Entrees Include choice of salad bar or soup du jour / clam chowder and choice of starch" - George's. Also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer ($12) and a basket of garlic bread w/ pesto (chef's compliment). Also two petit prime rib dinners ($35ea) & a very large "Kids" spaghetti & meatballs ($15) George's offers excellent food & service. Note: And not just b/c my son is friends with the chef, Nick DeJesus. A great dinner as we have come to expect from the staff at George's. Open Thu-Mon 4-9pm. plenty of parking. We had cart service bring us from the parking to the door. There was a large selection of craft beers to choose from. I got the lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious.
