“Came here not familiar or by a recommendation just looked up restaurants in Kingston and took a chance. Everyone at our table got something different and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The calamari was so tender and the Buffalo sauce to go with it was a nice change. John was our waiter and when we come back we are requesting him. He was always knowledgeable and accommodating. “The Anchorage is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Kingston the service, the food, everything about it makes you feel like it’s a home-cooked and the warmth of the people make you wanna keep coming back. Especially the bartender Stephanie she’s become like a home away from home. She makes the best original drinks. “Our son and daughter-in-laws wedding was held there and was one of the greatest weddings I have ever attended. Spent the entire weekend there and the hotel was amazing. Clean and attentive staff. The tavern was warm and friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere with great food. Literally parked the car and didn’t have to leave the entire weekend. We go back sometimes for a weekend getaway.“
