There is never anyone at the register, and while I was waiting for my food, I witnessed several other people come in and tried to yell to the back to ask if anyone could come to the counter. I did not see anyone respond, so customers just picked up bags off the shelf and left.“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “Superfood is the number one choice for food in my neighborhood. Everything from the ordering process to picking up the food is usually seamless. The food is fresh and tastes very good consistently every time. To top it off, the people working there are probably some of the friendliest people I have ever met.

“This is such a lovely spot. I first tried this spot many years ago. There used to be a Polish restaurant one block south of here, Neptune. We would go there and then come to brodo and grab a broth to go, often for my dad in the VA hospital up on 23 St. few places would sell you just broth.

I absolutely love the Hearth broth and you can add the ginger turmeric, which I highly recommend. I also ordered and tried the beef broth with ginger and turmeric, it was fine. Oddly enough, the hearth had a richer, beefier flavor than the beef did. It’s just a heartier flavor, I highly recommend it. I could easily pop over to enjoy a cup of broth in place of my daily coffee, it’s a similarly comfortable cup that travels well.“

“Pretty good bulgogi bowl. I ordered for delivery and the presentation of the food in the bowl shows that they obviously care about how their food looks as much as they care about how it tastes. I think the portion size was fine (the bowl may look small in width, but it was actually pretty deep). I had enough to have leftovers twice.“

“This takeout fish restaurant kills it with both flavor, portion and value.

You get a whole broiled fish and adding mere $3 gets you rice and side dishes.

Fish: 5 stars all the way as portions are big [whole fish halved], properly cooked with crispy skin and juicy meat. Given the price of fish at local fresh market, its a bargain for what you get full cooked.

Side dishes: This is a mixed bag. They lean heavily towards spicy/hot when it comes to their side dishes. Not children friendly.

Rice and Soup: Rice portions are sizeable.

An average adult can get 2 meals out of their fish and rice & side dish deal. Absolute bargain!“
