“Manny the owner/cook has been here for a long time and I’ve been getting breakfast and lunch here for over 10 years. Well-made food at excellent prices. Place is a bit cramped and paper plates and plastic tableware but saves money not having to pay for a dishwasher, and that savings gets passed to the customer. Also literally steps from the subway entrance for extra convenience.“

“I like it here. It's a small bakery on the corner, and it's got a wide variety of pastries and treats to select from. The cupcakes I've tried so far haven't been up to par. The icing isn't sweet enough for my personal liking. I've tried the vanilla cone, and it was NOT vanilla coning. I will need to come back to try other options. The staff is kind, however, and the store interior is lovely and cozy.“

“This cafe is so lovely. I had the pleasure of Desi and Aida assisting me with my order. They made the most delicious soy chai with amazing foam. Their desserts were amazing as well. It was refreshing to be greeted with such positive and friendly energy in New York. I can't wait to come back when I am in the area. “The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

“Tenz is one of the best parts about living in this neighborhood! Been a regular for a few years now. They are fast, friendly, and the drinks and pastries are so on point. “Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in Bushwick — and I’ve tried just about all of them. The espresso and coffee here are unmatched, which is why I find myself coming back every single morning. Personal fav is the pumpkin spice latte and the mocha latte with an extra espresso shot in each.

While I haven’t tried the food myself (I can’t have gluten), I often tell my friends about this place, and once they go they always rave about how good everything is — so much so that they go regularly on their own.

Looks like they have liquor but they’re closed after 3pm and on weekends so that doesn’t really make sense?. Tried a horchata latte and it was very sour and difficult to drink. Man happily fixed and changed it for me. Second drink still bad.. Would not eat here again but would come back for a casual daytime date just because of the cozy ambience & Great service.“

The service was immediately caring, patient, professional and set the bar for what to expect when interacting with a professional.
And while the book was not available at the location, I plan to make it a point to visit Cafe Con Libros based on the lovely and memorable service I received dyeing my call.

The quality of their coffee is consistently excellent, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Rodrigo makes my caramel mocha latte every morning — it’s the perfect way to start my day!

The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. I often bring my laptop to get some work done; the Wi-Fi is reliable, the music is always on point, and the vibe is just right for focusing or relaxing.
