“Update: Tried this place again and I gotta change my review from 4 stars to 5. Got a combo over rice with extra meat and it was packed. More importantly though, it was delicious. I don't know if it's because I was hungry but the food I got yesterday was made really good, so much so that I'd actually say this cart is among the top 5 halal places I'd recommend. There seemed to be more lamb this time, like 60% chicken to 40% lamb but I didn't mind it much because the chicken was very juicy and flavorful. It felt like I was eating heaven and this might be my new go-to but given that it's a little of a way from my house, I don't know if I'd be coming here often. What I do know is that it's right in front of the hospital and if I worked around there, I'd be getting even fatter. For the purposes of my health, it's probably a good thing that I don't live too close to this cart. 10/10

Original review: Got a combo over rice and despite costing $1 more than the chicken over rice, the combo was basically 90% chicken and 10% lamb so it was basically a chicken over rice with a few lamb pieces sprinkled in. Despite me feeling ripped off, the chicken over rice was actually quite good. Chicken was tasty and well seasoned and I'd say that this is definitely one of the better halal carts out there in the area. Not the best but pretty good, and the prices weren't terrible.“

I literally just ate two of their wings and the skin had crisp, the chicken was juicy but not too greasy. “June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.

The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

“I have tried lamb over rice. My expectation was more over the taste of lamb. I think they should try more to make it a tasty one. French fries were ok. Salad was nothing special. Overall they should try more to make it something better than their competitors.“

The first time I went here, I sat next to an older Indian woman who boldly proclaimed the lamb curry was the best she’d ever had in her life. “Absolutely PHENOMENAL food. We got a family platter of chicken and rice and a side of jerk chicken. It was the best food I’ve had in a very long time.

Salad was delicious, everything was fresh and wrapped so perfectly. The sauces were so yummy, I’d eat here every damn day if I could.“

“As a customer at Gyros & Wings Paradise, I have to say, it’s become my new favorite spot! The moment I walked in, the delicious smells hit me, and I couldn’t wait to dig in. I got the buffalo hot & told ack to mix it with the Thai chili sauce, GAHTTTTTTT, MASHAALLAH !!!! They were the best wings I’ve ever tried, I can’t even lie. Crispy, tender, flavorful, they surprised me. Wife got the lamb platter & said it’s the best she’s had. They really do cook back there with love & effort. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!“

“I really appreciate that Fevy’s offers halal chicken for Muslim customers, and the quality is top-notch. You can tell the chicken is fresh from its texture and cleanliness. The fried chicken is incredibly crispy, and the buldak chicken with cheese was absolutely delicious, though be warned—it’s quite spicy! The portion sizes are generous as well. The kimchi fried rice was decent, but it had a strong sesame oil flavor that might not be for everyone. The fries were a highlight—crispy and fresh. The iced tea, however, wasn't sweet enough for my taste. I also tried a sauce that was labeled as spicy, but it leaned more on the sweet side, which wasn’t what I was expecting. “I am glad I picked this place to have lunch with family. Best Uzbek food I tried so far. Tashkent plow tasted so good. They offer meat and pumpkin samsa. They have nice dessert options. We tried napoleon cake, Uzbek baklava, medovik came(Russian honey cake) They were delicious. Green tea is good to try. Parking is on street. Staff were great. Clean and neat restaurant.“

“I've been eating New York City halal cart food since 1998 when my wife worked on the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue. I would grab a mixed platter from Halal Guys while I waited for her.

Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.

My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“I have been coming to this place since they first opened. It was sad to see the Chinese restaurant go but this place makes you think they have been there your whole life. I have had countless meals here and I have not had one miss. I am very happy that its priced fairly and it is a good amount of food. I wish had some pictures but I am always so quick to dig in. I love that they are always adding new things to the menu so I can literally go here multiple times per day. I would suggest if you live nearby to go through the menu and order one item at a time and try to pick a favorite because I have yet to be able to pick one because everything is so good.“

“Wallaaahi, it was the best bowl I've ever had. I walked 40 minutes to get here cause i had to park my truck far away cause New York aint Trucker friendly.
