The woman at the front was extremely helpful in giving me suggestions, and you could tell they actually enjoy the food they serve. “Simply the best taco spot in the area for true street-style tacos. I used to drive all the way to Queens to get tacos like these, and now I’ve found this gem just 2 minutes from home.

I ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The meat quality was excellent and the portions were very generous. The birria consommé was perfectly seasoned and came with a grilled jalapeño that added the perfect touch. The tacos also came with fries, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food.

I also tried the chorizo tostadas, and once again the portion size and flavor were incredible. The condiments were fresh and well balanced, and those came with fries too. There was so much food that it was easily enough for two people.

I can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious street-style tacos, this is the spot.“

“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

Everything fresh and fast. Stopped in to pick up a couple burritos and the chicken grill salad. Batch of fresh chips and house salsa, excellent.
Steak burrito was more than enough for one, and packed with flavor.

Food is fresh, their salsa verde (green sauce) is made fresh daily and when we order we always ask for an extra big container of it. I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil. I appreciate this level of care because tacos can get messy. The chicken was tender and juicy and the flavors were on point, and the tacos were filled well for the price! Highly recommend“

“I went there with my Latin friend she's Amazing ? and the people in there my Latin brother's made me feel so much at home ❤️ Even showed me some dance moves as well. I was the only black person I'm there but they welcomed me with open arm's, even met two cool men who we're coming from out of state at the bar, paid for our drinks, also another brother did the same ??? “As usual the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately the waiter was rude. He screwed up my order. Then came over and twice asked me to admit I ordered something I didn’t. The waitresses were nice as always. Nothing was done by him. He did not apologize. Did not even offer to comp a drink or something. Not that I was looking for something free. He didn’t care. Really sad. At least the waitresses apologized.“

The only negative I found was that the meals took a long time to come out and it was a Tuesday with hardly any other people. I imagine it’s a lot worse on weekends when they’re busy .“

“Moe's is Moe's. Food was just as good as always, but they seemed understaffed as the tables and benches weren't cleaned very well. Also layout in the restaurant is kinda cramped, so if you choose to go during lunch or dinner rush, be prepared to trip over people.“

We usually get a few tamales (green, red, and/or rajas) and they're always hot, fresh, and delicious. I've also gotten a few breakfast sandwiches here (bacon, egg, avocado) and they're also great.“

“Just finished eating and I couldn't write a review fast enough. Everything we had was super flavorful and just delicious. Loved the carne asada tacos and the chicken tamales. Pupusas were also very good! Had the lorocco and cheese and the bean and cheese. Yum!“

“Even though our son is a professional chef and we think of ourselves as "foodies," we have only limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. That's going to change, because we will absolutely go back to Taino's to explore more of the menu. We went around 6-ish on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday, and the only other patrons were at the bar. They appeared to be regulars, and the vibe was warm and casual. Coconut shrimp is one of my guilty pleasures and I order it every time I see it on a menu. Tainos' was quite possibly the best I've ever had: enormous shrimp coated in batter and flaked coconut, fried to crispy perfection and served with a to-die-for coconut dipping sauce. I'm also a skirt steak junkie, so ordered the Churrasco al la Parrilla which is served with a large serving of rice, bowl of red beans and chimichurri sauce, all presented beautifully, complete with an orchid. I was so full from the shrimp, I took nearly all of my entree home. Our lovely waitress (also the bartender) packed up my leftovers so they were just as attractive and appetizing the next day. Everything, including the steak, reheated perfectly. Granted, at my age I have a small appetite, but I'll be finishing the second (!) half of my steak, rice and beans tonight (night #3). Our son ordered the chicken Canasta de Platano (plantain 'baskets') appetizer and grudgingly gave me only a tiny (delicious) taste. Husband ordered fried cheese, and ate a whole piece even before I could take a photo. Again, I was allowed only one bite, but know I'll order my own the next time we're there. He also ordered the skirt steak, but our son tried the Colombian platter (steak, avocado, pork cracklings, fried egg, rice and more), which he loved. He gave me the sweet corn cakes which I devoured. Can't wait to try "mofungo," which seems to be a signature dish. The oxtails look fabulous, too.“

They also serve a delicious green sauce, the prices are reasonable, the food is made to order and very fresh. Would recommend this place for an authentic experience. Excellent dishes and very tasty!“
