“Fresh ingredients, 2 jumbo shrimps per taco, I rather this then those tiny frozen shrimps with no texture. Burris did not come with a dipping sauce, but they were juicy enough.
I like how they grilled the tortillas as well so they are hot and a bit crispy at the same time.
Wish they would have fish tacos too.

Also they let you bring beer from the deli store to pair with tacos, that’s a big plus for me too.“

“We decided to try out this taco truck since we were in the area. The tacos are a little more expensive than typical places but the amount of meat in each taco made up for it! The flavors of each taco were so delicious. We got an arrangement of carnitas, carne asada, and bistec. We also got a side of guacamole and it was super fresh and delicious. The wait was a bit long so definitely order ahead of time for pick up. Overall, the food was really good and would definitely come back here again!“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.

The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

“Tacos Comal is following what every taco spot in Ny is trying to do; and that is to mimic the ever popular Tijuana style taco of course originating from its name sake and an ever popular option in California. And just like these taqueria in NY that try to mimic the look is there but the flavor cannot seem to get it right. These tacos are 3.5, although I cannot give it in my review it’s not deserving a 4 but mediocre is not by any measure and definitely does not deserve a 3. It falls in a 3.5 category. It’s not that the flavor is bad, it’s more that I don’t taste the authenticity. The salsas were weak and the biggest saving grace of this taco spot is its tortillas, which are definitely delicious.

If you’re looking for a good New York taco this is your spot! If you’re looking for an authentic Mexico or California taco they are to be found elsewhere.“

“I must say that this place surprised me (in a good way). It didn't look like it was anything to write home about but the service was great. During these cold days the bartender offered me one of their special drinks and it was so nice to drink a warm whisky cocktail.

Now, tacos. They are really really really good. I had carnitas and chorizo and would recommend both. No need to go all the way down to Bushwick imo.

I must give this place a 5/5 in terms of their offerings. Environment is just similar to any other bar“

We ordered a trio of tamales(mole, rajas, and cerdo rojas), a chicken Gordita, and a steak quesadilla. All of the items were outstanding! The tamales were so diverse in flavor(and delicious), and the gordita and quesadilla were both excellent. Great portion sizes and super reasonable prices!

We also had a spicy margarita each(1 jalapeño and one chipotle) and both were perfect and not overly sweet or spicy.

“They have the best corn tortillas for their tacos. I've had the chicken, steak, and chorizo tacos. Chicken and chorizo are both fantastic. Steak is alright. The green salsa is really tasty. It's nice to sit outside on a lazy sunny afternoon, have a few tacos and a Jarritos, and then go about my day.“

A couple with suitcases and half-empty plates canoodled at a four top. La Isla contestants mirrored on two large TVs attempted to complete an obstacle course.

"Hello," I said, "we are very hungry and in desperate need of tacos. We eat everything... except tripe. No intestines, please. Tongue, beef, pork, chicken, fish - whatever. "Enough for two adults and a kid with a hollow leg. And... do you have Jarritos? Tamarind, maybe?"

We grabbed the Jarritos (Tamarind, Mandarin, Pineapple) and sat down. We watched La Isla while waiting. Mouthwatering scents began to waft toward us. After a short while, the angel behind the counter approached bearing plates laden with everything that I didn't know was missing from my life.

Succulent and tender lengua, pliant steak, perfectly plump shrimp, and al pastor redolent of cumin, achiote, sizzling fat and just the right amount of char piled atop rice and wonderfully squidgy refried beans. Nopales!! Fresh green cilantro, tart lime, crisp white onion and tight rolls of steaming hot tortillas, all ready for me to shove into the mouth part of my face.

WE DEVOURED IT as locusts upon an untouched field, or perhaps just hungry travelers in search of a delicious meal. It was everything I had hoped it would be, and healed a part of my soul that I didn't realize was broken. I was grateful for every decision in my life that had led me to that moment, eating a perfect taco and swilling tamarind Jarritos with my family.“
