We ordered bang, bang shrimp, Buffalo chicken egg rolls and Philly steak egg rolls. All three were exceptional. I’m having a hard time deciding which I liked the best. My husband thought the Philly steak egg rolls were the best. The Manager ( or owner, not sure which) stopped by our table at the request of our waitress. I thought that was really nice. “We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

“The food was great. Parking was plentiful. However, the service was the best I've ever experienced of any establishment in this area. Our food was finished real fast and the person who served my friend and I was so easygoing and professional. Another friendly woman came along quite regularly just to offer coffee refills. It doesn't seem like much, but little things matter. The people who run BHC seem to understand that and it was such a pleasure to visit and spend money there.“

I also tried their Cranberry orange muffin. This muffin was bursting with flavor right down to the last crumb. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The owners Kaila & Steve come out and check on the customers not just the waiting staff. The customers clearly know who Kaila and Steve are as they speak. The environment is clean, well kept, beautiful and makes you feel at home. The tables are set up for sets of 2, 4 & 6 but can easily be pushed together for more. There is a salad & pastry section for those who would like a quick snack for to go. The location is easy to get to and easy to see from the road. They may be the new owners but things are looking smooth from what I saw.“

“I have been getting the same omelet every Sunday for the last 6 years, and will continue to do so indefinitely. Ribbon catered my wedding in May '24, and long before then they were practically family. This is the best place in Ballston Spa for more than just king Kev's cooking. Wonderful little place filled with happy people always with a smile on their face and a plate of something spectacular always on the way to a table. and that's not even mentioning why Kevin started the place and all the victims of breast cancer he's helped. 💗 love y'all 5 stars is hardly enough.“

“A+++++ i got the restaurant week meal tonight, they give you a whole casserole dish of deliciously crispy arancini! The chicken portofino was three portions stacked with chicken, mushrooms, red peppers, cheese and prosciutto! (took 2 portions home) We were so full that our waitress kindly offered to package our bread pudding to go, three separate containers one for the pudding, one for the sauce and another for the fresh whipped cream. Can't beat the staff, so helpful and everyone's constantly waiting on people and the decor is so cute and homey! Check out Ripe Tomato this week or any time.“

We also had an order of the crispy spring rolls that are garnished with fantastic pickled daikon radish & carrot sticks & fresh cucumber slices. I would love more of the pickled vegetable garnish! “The Tavern has been in business a long time. Used to be called The Clam Steam Tavern. Was and maybe still is, a popular country music venue. My dad was a country and western singer and played there a lot in the 50's. Maybe even in the late 40's. A nostalgic band stand and dance floor is still there and looks like it is in use. The food is standard bar food but very good. I do not eat seafood however my wife does and really likes the clams. Enjoy eating on the outside porch. Will be back this summer.“

“A family member ordered delivery for us from here. We can't wait to visit in person. \nComfort Burger was awesome as were the chili cheese fries . Order included a Lucy salad with grill chicken. Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“to the people commenting on the lack of ambiance...? i think it is fine. for me the music is "ambient" enough, along with the lovely wall mural, and photos showing what the food is....not to mention the collection of both holly AND "bolly"wood stars and starlets, adorning a back side wall. the dining area is always SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, and the bathroom shines. they keep the prices very reasonable, which is a HUUGE plus for me. the food is always great, fresh, and tasty, not to mention a lot healthier than the traditional american diet. staff is attentive. i never felt they "watch to see how many dishes you take", as someone suggested. they are likely making sure people get FRESH plates with every visit to the steam tables., since this is actually a restaurant/buffet health law...i have never ever, once felt like they wanted to "rush" me out. they are always very welcoming and accommodating.. “Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

The omeletts are perfectly made with every ingredient you order in each and every bite. The homemade corned beef hash is some of the best corned beef hash I've ever tasted. The physical restaurant itself is extremely clean and very well maintained. I have been to just about every Diner and Cafe in Schenectady and Albany County, as well as other states. This Cafe is definitely one of the best. Do not hesitate to give this Cafe a try!“

“In town for a little bit just was driving by and saw New York rangers flying out front. I'm a rangers fan and the game was on at 7:00. I went in there at 6:30 sat at the bar bartender put on the anger game and was very attentive. Great service. I didn't ask his name but he handled the whole bar. Good people. No craziness. Ordered a Heineken onion rings which both were fantastic. Look I'm mostly interested in good servers and someone that's smiling and that's what I got. The bar stools were far enough apart where you weren't hitting shoulders or elbows with other people who's good nice hometown bar. I miss it. I live in Scottsdale most of the year and everything's a free-for-all. I don't care what bar you're in
