“The food was incredible. We got the chicken skillet for two. It was an entire chicken which we were not expecting. Seasoned so beautifully and paired with roasted potatoes, onions and garlic. So good. Romantic atmosphere. Just a little too dark for me but my eyes aren’t the best. Loved this dinner and so happy we came!“
“a lovely place with accomodating staff, delicious pizza. we had five guests share 2 pizzas and a couple appetizers. also, when we went, there was a pride flag out front which was very welcoming.Vegetarian options: Soups, pizzas, veggie burger, etc.Kid-friendliness: has a reasonably priced kids menu, although the restraunt is quite small and dimly lit so might not be the best for energetic young toddlers“
“Wow! We were pleasantly surprised with the food. It was fresh and truly homemade. Definitely recommend the burger... probably the best I've ever had. The crispy chicken caesar wrap was also delicious... really good chicken. It was very busy for lunch but plenty of friendly staff that worked well together and kept everything moving. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!“
“Great hole in the wall kind of bar. Super casual, family run joint. Cheap, super great prices. Good flatbread pizza, decent burgers, good chicken tenders, greasy fries and decent cheesestake. Great pickles! Waitress was awesome, super attentive and funny. For a very casual place, 5/5.“
“It was January of 2018… four friends showed up to what is still considered the greatest diner we have ever been to. Nothing will ever top the authentic delicious breakfast we were served. We talk about this place as though it’s Bethlehem and we are the disciples following the stars to Jesus’s births- it’s that good. God speed and Godbless this place“
“We went there tonight after a concert down the street for dinner and it was just right. The chef/owner and waitress were friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding. Everything made from scratch. They don't have their liquor license yet but it did not matter. I recommend it.“
“My wife and I loved an affordable, comfy, and clean place to stay while we skied at Belleayre. Coffee in the AM was great and were total coffee snobs! We used to frequent this area several years ago and a few things have since closed down, meaning you’ll need to drive over to Arkville for general supplies. Most places nearby seemed to open around 8am and close on the earlier side. Although we visited during the week and saw that they would make you breakfast on the weekend.Expect traditional Catskills lodging. We’ve eaten at the tavern in the past and it was great. Didn’t make it on our last visit.“
“This is the place you hope that will end up being your new local tavern. From the food (which is truly amazing thanks to Mike) the drinks and the atmosphere the owner Santos and the bartender MJ will make your night. I know they did for us.“
“A fantastic place to eat given the limited options in the area. An old school diner atmosphere with a friendly staff and a huge menu. The roast beef platter was great, and the “best burger in the Catskills” lived up to the name. They had a full menu of just ice cream too; my friend loved his milkshake and my soft serve was some of the best I’ve ever had.Must stop if you’re traveling by.“
“I have eaten in this restaurant numerous times for lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. It is family run and a delight to visit. The food and service is excellent. Last night I had the spoon roast and it was the best I have ever had.Parking: Street is generally available and there is a town parking lot for free across the street“
