Our server Carlos gave us great recommendations and was mindful of my allergies. My partner and I ordered the Halloumi Salad and a cheeseburger. “I had an amazing experience at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, and it was all thanks to Crystal, our waitress. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave great menu recommendations.

What really stood out was her positive attitude and genuine care for the customers. Even though the restaurant was busy, she handled everything smoothly and made us feel like a priority. Service like this truly makes the whole dining experience better.

If you visit Applebee’s, I highly recommend asking for Crystal. She’s a fantastic waitress and a great example of what excellent customer service looks like. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“This peruvian restaurant not only has beyond delicious meats of chicken, beef and salmon but has a huge selection of vegetables which most peruvian restaurants dont offer. “The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“Best onion rings in the Hudson Valley! I've eaten here several times now and the food is outstanding. Come hungry because all portions are big. They don't just pile it on though. Every plate comes out very well presented. The lamb burger is my favorite but those fish tacos are a close second.“

“First time in the restaurant and dined in. I ordered steak 🥩 but was given a big slab of burger. I was disappointed and told them I didn’t order ground beef I wanted steak. You cannot confuse me with food I’m a foodie I know what I want. I asked them to give me a real piece of meat steak and they did. I wasn’t rude or anything I just didn’t expect to be given that kind lol. If I wanted a burger 🍔 I would’ve ordered burger. It’s obviously not a steak they should change the description of that menu item if that’s the case. Don’t dupe me with something I didn’t ask for and cover it with sauces and mountain of sides. Anyway, they were nice enough to change it the way I asked. I appreciated that. Thank you for your service and kind understanding!“

“Went to my great nieces birthday and Baptism; Charlotte is 1 year old! Apparently, Wellington Grill is being rented as a special catering event location.
Very clean, lots of windows, 2 large rooms including a full bar on one side. A couple of areas for hors douerves and buffet or sit down dinner.
Food was amazing! You choose the menu!
I'd definitely rent this place for an event, party!“

“Decor probably hasn't changed in 40 years, which is part of its charm. Really good food (try the chicken scarp), and drinks. Prices are as low as you can get. If it's crowded expect a very slow kitchen.“

“We hosted a private event in the side room at Boscos recently and everything was perfect. The service and food were excellent. The owner was very helpful in getting everything coordinated ahead of the event. We will definitely host another event here in the future.“

My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. “Randomly found ourselves in the Barley House while on a weekend get away. The place is beautifully decorated and the design of the bar, lighting, etc was very impressive. We had some house mixed drinks, followed by some cold drafts. The food was served with great timing and was absolutely delicious. The price of wings were a little higher than anywhere else, BUT they were absolutely delicious.“

“Bar 141 is a beautiful eatery that is upscale but with an inviting and friendly atmosphere. The menu features a diverse array of gourmet dishes. They were also quite willing to accommodate me by making a delicious vegan dishes which I greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and customer service is excellent. “Two door is amazing. They have a really good lunch service weekdays (burgers, grilled sandwiches, fries etc. It's not fancy but just really good honest food cooked to order. Chicken parmigiana on Thursday is a local phenomenon as are the Fish and Chips on Friday night. Both nights sell out fast. This place speaks for itself. There are few places with legitimate original character these days. Frequent them, embrace them and support them in all their rustic glory you'll be richer for the experience!“
