“Cute small town vibes. Our waitress was very nice. Our food was fantastic. I got the hash and eggs. I was expecting your typical corned beef hash and was pleasantly surprised when I received real pieces of corned beef in hash browns. I am a condiment queen and this tasted so good I don’t even touch the ketchup. We will be back in January for sure.”

“Our party of six stopped in last night on our way back to Tupper Lake from Lake Placid. Our kids and their friends were especially hungry from a day on top of the mountain and they thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas and tacos. My wife and I enjoyed our Mojitos and Cure NEIPAs. Our fried chicken sandwich was perfectly flavored and the chips and queso were an amazing start. As co-owners of our own brewery, we were especially pleased with the level of service at each encounter (hostess, bartender, waiter, server, even the person who sold me my shirt). I also architect nerded out over the design of the place and the perfect use of the site. Being from NJ, I was pleasantly surprised at the somewhat urban scale /vibe to a place I never suspected to have one . We will definitely make this our stop every time we pass through. Five stars!”

“This restaurant was such an incredible and unexpected find on the way home from the Bloomingdale Bog! I have traveled widely and the best food I have ever had was in Venice Italy: I kid you not, the food and service here brought me back to Venice and Florence. I had the shrimp special: shrimp cooked with sautéed vegetables: onions, sliced garlic, roasted red peppers, large wands of broccoli, all cooked to perfection. The veggies still had flavor and bite, the large shrimp were perfectly cooked, and all tossed over pasta with delicately flavored sauce and olive oil, which never overpowered the flavor of the main ingredients. My partner had the Chicken special which was perfectly tender chicken breast bathed in a cognac marinara sauce, with mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers and a side of delicate pasta. For dessert we enjoyed the Tira mi su, my favorite, which I make from scratch myself. The pastry and pastry cream were heavenly, finished with a thin layer of chocolate and a dollop of whipped cream. Stupendous. The lemon cake was also obviously made in house, with cake that was not too sweet, richly textured with a nice thick layer of lemon cream between the two layers. This dinner was a glorious North Country surprise, one that transformed this series of cold, gray days. The service was also absolutely exceptional, professional, friendly, graceful, relaxed and timely. We can't wait to return, and I would highly recommend you treat yourselves...especially now when it's slower! Light up a cold winter evening. THANK YOU!”

“I used Jamdots Baking Co. for the first time in June to make a bridal shower cake. The cake was wonderful—it was exactly like I’d ordered and delivered right on time to the venue in Lake Placid. It was delicious!”

“Melissa made us 2 birthday cakes for a family reunion. One was strawberry with buttercream frosting. The other was carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. First, they were beautiful! They were creatively decorated in an Adirondack theme. Then, they were delicious! And now they are gone. Everyone loved them. 😊 The price was a good deal, too.”

“Great little sub shop in the town of saranac definitely get their pickles and their garlic dill bread on whatever sandwich you get it's absolutely delicious if you love pasta salad there's is extremely delicious they even ask you if you want to add other toppings on it as well because it's a very simple salad granted it's so delicious and so flavorful I don't think you need to add anything to it other than maybe some onions.”

“Decent spot for Asian/Sushi buffet with good ambiance. Food was okay, good varieties to choose from..had all the usuals that you’d expect. They did a good job with not overwhelming the buffet menu. There were quite a bit of vegetarian and dessert options as well. One thing they can do better is labeling the food item and mentioning if it has meat/seafood/nuts/seafood/dairy for people with dietary restrictions.
Overall, satisfactory experience and good value for money!”

Great pricing and freshly made, they even have their lunch special available during the weekend! If you're looking for Chinese food that doesn't cut any corners this is the place!”
