Even if they don't show it to customers, it's critical that at least the staff have access to this information to be able to alert customers whether or not their allergen is in a particular food item.“

Danny's sauce recipe is printed on a flour sack in a frame on the wall (very close to Mom's) so those of us who cook can savor the taste at home. Chocolate cake with pistachio cream and a fine cup of coffee to end the meal....now that's perfection!“

“Stellar evening even though our reservations were for the bar and it was not the best seating due to being by the kitchen door. The food was delicious, well presented, and plentiful. “We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

“A family member ordered delivery for us from here. We can't wait to visit in person. \nComfort Burger was awesome as were the chili cheese fries . Order included a Lucy salad with grill chicken. Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

However, we don't get to go in person much, so we've been trying to order delivery frequently during the past 2 months and their courier (at this time, Uber) has made it an extremely unpleasant and unreliable experience almost every time. In fact, after just spending over an hour today on the phone with Uber Eats over a $60 order, only to be told by Uber Eats that we'll have to pay the full amount if we cancel an order that is an hour late (due to Uber Eats lack of competent drivers in the area, nothing at all to do with ABW), we won't be ordering from here until there's a better option. Uber Eats is definitely the problem. Hoping to see this place on Doordash someday, so we can enjoy reliable fast pickup & delivery.“

“Thursday $1 wings. Good day to stop by. Wings were excellent and many many plates of wings went by on the way to the tables. Lot to choose from on the menu with many under $20 choices. We chose the Chicken Skibereen!
Nicely poured Guinness also. Only complaint was the Happy Hour which we went for - and was told when we were seated would be available - was not honored at the tables, someone finally informed us it was only at the bar. Not a game changer but a bit unusual to only find out after speaking to several wait staff! Fun atmosphere and would definitely go back another time.“

I would have given five stars but I was extremely disappointed in the fact that there is NO BATHROOM and you have to use cash. “I attended Skidmore from 1978-1982. Compared to what it was like back then, the dining hall is far and away a 5! It's a massacre. Those giving low ratings have no idea what college dining halls were once like, even at high-priced schools. It's been a huge change that has greatly benefited the younger generations. Be appreciative. If you had to eat the way we used to have to, you would probably be traumatized.It's interesting how it's possible to rate individual buildings on Skidmore campus and not just Skidmore itself.“

“We came for trivia night and were blessed with a tacos and margs special. Tacos and margs were good! We assumed it would be busier because of the trivia and thus service a little slower, so we kept ordering another round of drinks when our server delivered a round. When we ordered the third round (only 2nd drink for one of us) it took about 25-30 minutes and several check ins about the missing drinks for them to bring his tap beer, and another 5-10 after that for the margs. We did also question if the wait staff had to make their own drinks too which would have obviously contributed to the delay and be understandable with the timing and busy-ness of things. Not sure what it's like on non trivia nights. Overall would definitely go again, but make sure to order several rounds of drinks at once and do not wait to order food either (though they had a food runner so that was mostly pretty quick)“
