“I looked up what foods in the area were top rated and this little restaurant popped up. So I went for a try. Got the steak nachos and WOW. Everything taste fresh and even the chip were crispy fresh and taste homemade. The crema, beans, steak well seasoned, guacamole all paired wonderfully and perfect portions of each. I hate getting nachos with 80% chips, 10% beans and barely any protein. This place knows exactly what they’re doing and I can’t wait to try other stuff on their menu. Also it’s a very small restaurant with limited seating. I took my food to-go and it was well packaged and hot.“

The service was impeccable from the host to our server everyone knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Now to the food, arguably some of the best Oaxacan cuisine I have tasted outside of Mexico. The crudo was so fresh and vibrant the short rib memela was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and tasty. “Food is yummy. Prices have gone up recently. Still fair pricing. Ran into an issue with an order for my coworkers and I. The order was double checked on the phone but when we received the order we had one different item. Called and spoke with someone who said “that’s what you ordered”. Then spoke with the person who took my order the first time and she said we must’ve gotten the wrong item by mistake that she would fix it and we’d get it asap. When the driver arrived he asked us to pay we then had to explain the situation to him and hand him back the torta that we had already opened and touched (gross but I can see why they’d do it). Aside from some rude staff. The food is good“

Totally dismayed, I happened to look up and there this place was right before my eyes. “Giving chipotle a run for their money. I had the Cholula hot & sweet chicken, it was really good. I didn’t need hot sauce like in chipotle, just really good flavors. The guacamole is really good, queso was a ok but I’m not really a queso fan. The chips were fresh, crispy and not greasy.“

“This place is CRAZY . HANDS DOWN the best birria I have had in Yonkers! PERIOD . I have been to multiple places and none get close to this quality and price and quantity. I got here with my girl and we both got food and drinks to a total of 50$ and we couldn’t breathe of how full we were. They have juices for $6.5 that are massive and taste amazing. The value for the money in this spot is unheard of along with the taste!!!!!!! The only thing I would comment a little negative was that the door was bringing in cold air being 32 degrees outside but apart from that, AWESOME SPOT. I will be coming back to further review this place. Im in love . 5/5 for me . Best spot for birria in Yonkers .

“Don't let the unassuming interior fool you. The food at Cafe Latino is extraordinary (I devoured the vegan tostada and chicken vegetable soup for lunch), and the staff is delightful. You can taste (and smell) the fresh ingrediants. Great prices too. Can't recommend it highly enough!
