“While I expected to have Coal Fired Pizza, it wasn't available. That being said the lasagna was excellent, the meatballs had great flavor and you got 4 of them. The spaghetti carbonara was delicious and the penne ala vodka had a red pepper kick to it.
Over all the food was good. I just had a hankering for the pizza and when I saw it advertised on the window I was super excited... but quickly disappointed.“

“Not only does Grano have amazing food, but their customer service is also fantastic! I went there recently before a show at Proctors, and unfortunately the kitchen was a little behind, and we did not have enough time to eat. When leaving Proctors, our server was waiting outside the theater to give us our food to take home. They really went above and beyond. I will definitely be going back soon!“

“This place! My husband and I decided to try this place since it was walking distance from a great local brewery. We had no idea it was plant based until we arrived and actually read the menu. From the wings, to the burgers and the carrot cake! I mean this place was incredibly fantastic! We are not even vegan/vegetarian!! 10 stars because 5 isn’t enough!“

“We enjoyed a delicious family meal tonight! The chicken was so tender and the flavor was delicious. Very generous portion - plenty for the four of us. And the best pita bread to accompany the dish. We added on some baklava for a sweet treat at the end and it was amazing! Thank you - we’ll be back soon.“

“I order almost all my teas from Whistling Kettle. Since I discovered them, I have turned into an addict for their Autumn Haze and Lemon Almond Panna Cotta teas. I have always been pretty selective about the teas I drink and this company goes above and beyond with their blends and choices. Their packaging and shipping is also first class! Please make one more batch of Autumn Haze this season so I can buy you out till next year's.“

“Food is decent and experience is overall good.
Muffins are very good.
They will add berries and strawberries to most dishes and not mention that. If you're picky just ask to not have those with the dishes.
I've been here a few times since I'm a college student. Their drinks range but pretty standard.“

“We had a delicious lunch at The Moon and River Cafe today. Reubens , Thai fries, beet salad and blueberry pie all vegan and kindly prepared and served by Richard as always. We have been there several times and will definitely be back !“

“Best Pizza in Schenectady. Definitely try the Bacon Ranch Tomato slices! Oh yeah... they have slices... great slices and soooo many varieties... it would take a while to try them all. Thin and crispy crust with a flavorful sauce. Small eat in space with outdoor seating for good weather.“

“I have been getting "take out" from Home Style for many years. We love the home cooked Lasagna and Eggplant Parmesan served with plenty of sauce and their own Italian bread rolls baked in their brick oven. We have served small luncheons through their catering service. That always is a hit. One day a few years ago I discovered I was just crazy over Home Style's Chicken Cacciatore. I always order a half tray so that I can put some in my freezer. Every winter we take individual servings of cacciatore with us when we go skiing and stay at a B & B. We can just heat it up in their microwave. It always comes with plenty of rolls or a loaf of Italian bread.
Vegetarian options: I only needed vegetarian option once for my granddaughter so I asked for suggestions. All I remember is that she did not go hungry. It was over 3 years ago and do not remember exactly what I ordered for her. Probably EggPlant Parm. and of course we had a Salad.
Parking: There is a medium size parking lot where people getting take-out are always coming and going. There is free street parking. Since their new restaurant opened, it gets crowded on popular nights.
Kid-friendliness: I always see Mac and Cheese on the menu and on the steam table and that is what young kids usually like. Of course there are many items that are kid friendly. My grand-kids are both in their 20's and so it has been awhile since I had to feed them. Oh, of course they have every pizza imaginable. When I use to have a kids pool party I would always order a bunch of pizzas.“

“We had our book club here and it was fantastic. The upstairs room is so beautiful and stylish. The food was DELICIOUS and very unique. Highly recommend the biscuit flight and whipped ricotta. Cocktails were fresh takes on old classics. Staff was very gracious. I can’t wait to come back for dinner!“
