“Staff was very nice. My kids always feel welcome here. Clean. Pay by weight, so be careful haha. New fro-yo shakes available. Provided extra spoons. Excellent selection - ice cream, oat based, sorbet, fro yo. So many choices. Food labels are right next to the products. Excessively great amount of fun toppings. Appreciate that hot fudge is gluten free. Has to go items. Kids have fun pulling the handles on their own. Comes out fast! Plenty of eat in spaced out or all the "to go" items are stocked and ready. “We had 2- Go for 2 Meals. I had a Tomatoe Basil, BLT with Street Corn Chowder. It was excellent. My mother had Cheddar Chicken sandwich on Foccacia with the Corn Chowder. I was really impressed with the taste and quality of food. The manager was going around tables asking customers about their food and service. Additionally, to join the rewards program which we are doing rn. Appreciate the food though it's expensive for many like me. Great location right across from Walmart, and Lowe's. “We were there last night for a friend’s birthday. Place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated quick. Apps, entrees and desserts were all delicious and huge servings. The pineapple tropical margarita was so tasty! Our server Dayana was very sweet and attentive. She made my friend’s birthday very special. We will definitely be going back!“

“Chez Mike doesn't disappoint. Often when my husband picks me up at the train station we have dinner there. The cocktails, food and service were as good or better than my meals in NYC and a great value for fine dining in the Capital District. Our server, Cameron, was friendly and attentive even when the place really filled up. Two delicious cocktails, a glass of wine, two appetizers, an entree and dessert were under $120. I actually like the strip mall vibe on the outside hiding the awesomeness inside. Chez Mike is a real find.“

“We’ve been eating at IL FARO for years, and have always loved the food and the people. We go there knowing that we will be greeted at the door by people who know us. But now that they’ve refreshed their menu, we love it even more. They offer the most and best vegan options of any restaurant in the area. The best thing is that a portion of the menu changes weekly. The food always tastes great. There’s always something new to try. Plus, you can add meat or fish to all vegan options if that’s your thing.“

“This was my first time here, we were in Albany for appointment and were trying to find a vegan place. I didn’t know most places in Albany are closed on Mondays. Wizard burger blew our minds. The friendly staff were patient as we took a bit to take it all in. The atmosphere was great from the music to the decor, they also have a free library and can play retro video games. Onto the food, my husband had a burger and fries that he said was perfect. I had the Buffalo chik’n sandwich, and fries, I couldn’t finish mine due to the size. It was about 5 tenders cooked perfectly and smothered with Buffalo and ranch. The fries were hot, and not greasy like most places. The price for 2 entrees and 2 Mexican coca-colas were $30. Not bad for an all vegan meal with large portions. I highly recommend Wizard burger, and look forward to going back.“

“The large mezze with all of the little scoops of magical flavor is so delicious that it's hard to pick a favorite. When they show up at your table with the bread bigger than your plate it's hard not to squeal with delight. We live in PA but stop here whenever we get the chance. We also had the beef and lamb kebab, which was a perfect compliment. We ate it before we could take any photos.“

“We decided to try Albany Ale and Oyster House on a chilly, rainy Wednesday afternoon since we had to be on New Scotland Avenue for an afternoon doctor appointment. I'm so glad we did, and also happy we arrived just as they were opening because we were able to sit at the bar and visit with one of the owners, Mia. We tried a flight of beer opting for all pilsners, one each from Italy France, Czechia and from our own New York region; all tasty, just the right amount of foam and nice and chilled. I ordered the Beyond brat which comes with comes with kale slaw and honey mustard, crispy potato chips in a brown paper bag for soaking up the oil and keeping them crispy, and a mixed green salad with the best sesame honey dressing. I love good salads and this one was perfect, with dressing on each lettuce leaf. Mia said they take their salads seriously, and you can tell. My partner had the Reuben and he proclaimed it the best he ever had. Overall the taste, presentation and preparation of the food was perfect. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and all who work there; Albany Ale and Oyster House is now one of my top favorites in the areaVegetarian options: In addition to the Beyond Brat they offer Beyond Burger and some interesting salads.“

“We got a fantastic meal here late on a Thursday. We had a view of the kitchen from where we were seated at the bar. The from-scratch cooking looked so good that it had two vegetarians salivating over ham hocks. We split a loaded veggie burger (note that they can make this vegan, because everything is made to order) and an opera cake and I enjoyed an amari flight. I'm looking forward to our next visit!“

“Never let's you down! Dinosaur BBQ is synonymous to Troy waterfront. I have been coming to this place for a decade now and it's beautiful in the summer, specifically during sunset. The briskets and pulled pork are a highlight. One of the best collard greens I have ever had. If you are in Troy and love BBQ, don't miss this.“

“Love this cute bagel shop! Every time I have come, the bagels have been fresh and delicious. I’m a cream cheese gal (who isn’t, though) and theirs is REALLY good with several flavor options. Everyone who works there is friendly and greets you with a smile. Today I ordered a latte and the girl working the counter suggested I try their buttered popcorn flavor if I am feeling adventurous, so I did. So good! I greatly appreciated the suggestion since she could tell I was having a hard time deciding, haha. All in all, definitely recommend this spot.“

The eggs are sunny side up and delicious. Home fries and a side salad round out the perfect breakfast. My partner also always orders the same meal. Fried chicken with macaroni and cheese. When we go for dinner If you are a French onion soup fan I have a huge suggestion. The French onion soup is what I call a "destination dish " It is a delicious change from the norm. The service is always fast and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable. We have been customers here since the first week and will continue to be. The bar area, the dining room with its communal tables, the patio in the summer time. This has been our go to place for the past 13 years. Keep up the great work, the food, the hospitality, the overall experience is what a beer hall should be.“

“Few places I have given this type of review for what it is just a small, modest and extremely clean sandwich shop. This is five out of five. I had the grilled beef sandwich and it was phenomenal. What made it great was not only the fresh veggies and seasoning, but it was the bread, the baguette that they serve is as advertise. It is light airy with a thin, crispy shell again, I cannot say more about this place“

“Hi! We visited the Wolf Rd. KUMA Ani on April 20, 2024. We had an amazing experience. The staff was beyond friendly & helpful. They went above & beyond explaining the menu to us & when it was time for us to leave they even gave us 2 containers of ice to help our leftovers stay cold & safe for our travel back to Vermont. We highly recommend this Kuma Ani. The food was hot & nicely plated. The establishment was very clean, restroom too! Went on a Tuesday evening next and there was a live DJ playing very loud dance music. That didn't seem to fit the vibe and it was difficult to have conversations.“
