They are efficient, know what they’re doing, know how to cater, AND KNOW HOW TO COOK! Caden was amazing on the delivery. “We stumbled across this place while waiting for our ferry during a New England road trip. Upon seeing prices that looked like they were from a bygone era (it's not just the lobster), we had quite a few items from their eclectic menu. Everything was made to order and our food was delivered much more quickly than the average fast-food joint by a server who treated us like old friends. The atmosphere is unpretentious and super chill - perfect for sports fans looking to hang out alone or with friends. It's a must-visit place if you're passing through the area for any reason.“

“My fiancee and I have been going to Northern Coast since shortly after it opened, and it never disappoints. This place is the definition of a "hidden gem", being in the lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Stony Brook campus (you don't need to be a student to go, but students get a discount IIRC). Although it's right adjacent to the lobby with little separation, it's much more than your standard hotel eatery with lots of great New American dishes and a warm, comfortable, unique atmosphere.I've tried several dinner items, and all have been great so far, with reasonable prices, sizeable portions, good variety of styles, all fresh-tasting and "made to order". But, if there's one thing I always go back to, it's the roasted chicken. The skin is so crispy and it has a buttery au-jus that's just divine. It comes with some sauteed string beans that are sweet and flavorful as well. I'd also like to mention the pork chops, brussels sprouts, and the peach melba dessert as well.The service never disappoints, and at least when we went, the vibe of the place is calm and quiet (even with being next to the hotel's front desk). I dig the melodic chill/deep house from the hotel lobby, and I also love the style of the place, it's got a clean, colorful look that feels very "90s tropical". Screens are around that rotate through pictures of the food items. We usually eat there pretty late (it's refreshing finding a place that will stay open till 10PM), so I could imagine this place gets a lot busier and noisier at other times (like around college orientation/graduation, or brunch).I love this place and think it's a great addition to the area. So I have it a 4. 1 burger (add guac) 1 dbl burger 1 large fries to share 2 lemonade 2 shakes $55 Restaurant had only 1 customer waiting and 1 couple sitting - our food was delivered to the table in just under 20 min. (Seemed long to be sitting on metal chairs at a metal table). No utensils or extra napkins anywhere in sight - had to be requested after waiting back in line. And this burger is too big for the bun, which was made gooey/soft/ piled high from condiments and toppings. Won't be back.“

“VETERANS DAY BREAKFAST 2023 Denny's, I thank you for recognizing Veterans by offering a free Grand Slam Breakfast to all Veterans. My wife and I walk in and are shown to a booth by the window. The COVID 19 large plastic separators are still hanging from the ceiling. It doesn't bother me, its still a strange reminder of the past. Grand Slam is just what it says, knocked it out of the park with two Bacon Strips, Two Sausage Links, Two Pancakes and Two Eggs. This is a lot of food! I usually have a cuppa coffee and a breakfast bar for breakfast, I needed a nap after eating this meal. The pancakes were warm and eggs were cooked they way I liked them and coffee kept coming.
