“ordered through slice and no where did it mention that I was ordering personal Pizzas. Ordered 2 pies thinking it would be enough for the whole family. Ended up having to order another pie from else where. Checked their website and it doesn't say anything about the size of the pizza either. pizza was good but I feel robbed“

“I am the Executive Director at a local senior living community. Our residents have been requesting that we order takeout pizza to switch things up a bit for our dinner service. I placed a large order at the last minute and couldn't be more impressed with how kind and generous they were in the process. “Great atmosphere for a date night, but for takeout the personal pie is goated. For some reason it seems cheesier, tastier, and the temperature is much warmer than a full-size pie. And it is a great size for two people. It even reheats closer to fresh. On lunch special (check schedule) its a tad cheaper AND you get a drink.

My only peeve is that the heroes are pretty stingy. Compared to my nearby spot the Setauket Pastaria probably has half the meat. Granted the meat tastes slightly higher quality.

Love the employees. Never an issue with them.

I guess if I had any suggestions for improvement, I'd ask for a way to order zeppolis fresh. They go from a 5 to a 9/10 when they are fresh. I'd pay a premium for that.“

“Picked up Three pies two hero’s the price is great. we ordered three different types deep dish. Thin. Crust and regular pie with meatballs five stars the meat balls really made the pie.“

She brightened up out dinner experience and made the whole restaurant glow with positivity. I have never experienced such amazing service in my 73 years of life. I especially want to thank her for being nice to my grandson. he has severe autism and she was just a doll! She even sang him happy birthday (he was turnin 7). “Simply the best pizza on Long Island!!!!“

“Dinner was excellent! Extensive menu. Ordered from the pasta section of the menu gnocchi a la vodka with melted mozzarella on top. It was delicious. There was an unprinted kids menu that included good items like spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken fingers with fries, pizza, etc on the night we went. Chose the spaghetti and meatballs and it came with a large bowl of spaghetti and two giant meatballs. My portion was huge too. They were all about service. Very friendly and attentive team members. The restaurant was very busy, but the food came out relatively quickly and very hot.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere four rather than five star rating is because the front door area was so crowded and congested when we arrived that we couldn't get through the dense and unorganized crowd to figure out where the hosts and hostesses were to request a table. We had never been there before so we had no idea if that was a line for a table or takeout. Appears the front door has a take out order counter or area there. There was a back side door that we ended up using and found some hosts in the middle of the restaurant to ask for a table. To our pleasant surprise there was table readily available for us on the patio!“

The pizza is fantastic and gets the full 5 stars.The middleaged gentleman working counter, however should get 1 million stars.Someone in my car got sick as we pulled up to park, and left a little mess infront of the store, and may need urgent care.I went in and told him what was happening, and asked if he had a bucket, so I can clean it.He did not blink an eye, and insisted I take care of my matters, and he would clean it.He offered me towels, napkins, whatever I needed.His only concern, was for me to attend to ourself, and he would do the rest.I travel to St. James 2x per week for the unforseeable future, and I will be stopping in for lunch frequently.SIR, I didnt get your name, but I cant thank you enough.You are a model of what every human should be like.Thank you“

“Rocco's might possibly be the best pizza on the North shore area from Smithtown to Setauket. I would include Port Jeff, but that would run into another pillar competitor:) The pizza always has a fantastic crust, the heros always have awesome bread, and great meat fillings. Meatballs are absolutely worth getting. Garlic knots, always full of garlic. The sauce is amazing as well. In the mood for a salad? Always fresh, never brown lettuce. Highly recommend any of their specialty slices, chicken Parm, or baked ziti, even grandma slice. Don't forget about the pasta too! I'll add photos next time I'm there.“

“Meatballs-tasted almost identical to when my Italian, childhood best friend’s grandma would slow simmer them ALL day long every Sunday!! The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too.
