“Stopped in for lunch yesterday. It was a beautiful, cool shady spot on a quaint island porch. The lunch was all home-made and fresh even down to the English muffins. The dessert case had a plethora of delicious freshly baked treats. We sampled a bunch and one was better than the next! Definitely a must visit!“

“I just want t say I was there yesterday with our group knights on Bikes we had 17 bikes and 25 people and the waitress was fantastic she gave us unbelievable service with a great attitude doing it. Had traditional fish and chips but swapped out the fries for a salad. All great quality. Fish was fresh and greens simple but tasty. Husband tried the oyster soup and for him to say it was satisfying raised my eyebrow. Heard the desserts are great but too full to try. Don’t skip this gem.“

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. “We visited LF last evening with a group of friends. We were out for drinks nearby and stopped in to see if they could accommodate our group of 8 on short notice. They set us up right away and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Many of us have had their food before, but none had eaten in the restaurant. We also didn’t know that they had a full bar. The margaritas were delicious and there was a decent selection of beers too. The food was delicious and we all had a great time.“

Unfortunately, you cannot order single slices for the pizza so I didn’t try it. The garlic knot was very different, but still good. We tried ordering dessert but were told kitchen was closed and only could get ice cream and it was still fairly early before closing time. Overall it was a good experience.“

“We hosted an event at Greenport Harbor Brewery and it was just perfect. John, the founder, was a pleasure to work with, the staff was friendly, the food delicious, and everyone had a great time. We would gladly host another event here and would recommend to friends and family.“

“What a wonderful dinner we had last night! (Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.) The restaurant is small, but we arrived around 5:30pm on a Sunday and we were the only people in the dining room area. I recommend calling ahead, which we will do in the future.
We were a party of six. Our server was a delightful, knowledgeable gentleman who saw to all our needs.
I requested a mocktail of any kind, and the bartender made me something delicious and tangy although they do not have cocktails on the menu.
We had the fried calamari appetizer - I can't deal with tentacles, but there were plenty of rings so I got to partake. They were perfectly, lightly battered and fried.
The dishes we had were:
Baked Ziti (I think), Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, Pumpkin Ravioli, and I had the Clams in White Sauce. Everyone said their meals were delicious, and my clams and fettuccine was delicious! The clams were still in the shell, and were huge and tender. The pasta and sauce was perfect. David said the pumpkin ravioli was amazing, but I did give him some of my fettuccine because he is a big eater and he didn't have quite enough. Mine was way too much so it was perfect.
For dessert we had 2 cannolli (BEST we have ever had), some kind of ice cream inside a chocolate shell, tiramisu, and a chocolate mousse cake. All were really, really good. We will definitely be eating there again when we visit our family in Springs.
The service, the amazing food, the chef coming out to visit with us - all made this a great experience!“

“Hellenic in East Marion was incredible! This was my first Greek meal in 5 years since before my diagnosis. I haven't been able to eat safe from cross contamination gluten free Greek food and today I was sooo happy! Hellenic makes their own gluten free pita bread. It was so good that I bought some frozen gluten free pita to go. We went to the farms today so we just kept driving but it will be a great place to go before or after taking the ferry to Connecticut in the future as it’s on the way. I wish it was closer to central/western Suffolk. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. My colleague had a burrito and quesadilla. Both look amazing. Fresh tasting great quality ingredients. My pictures aren’t the best as we could wait to eat! Must try take away if you’re near.“

“Great spot to stop at on your way out east. Menu has been updated. Why but play a round of mini golf too? This place is associated with Ellen on Front in Greenport. Another spot on my list to get to.

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

“Beautiful winery, the building is so gorgeous and authentic. People here really create an atmosphere and provide amazing experience for customers and club members. They have cute little shop with pretty souvenirs and some things you just must have at your kitchen. Wine and food platters are divine. “We were in Greenport for Mother’s Day, and stumbled in here. The smell from outside was amazing. We ordered the half Brisket, Ribs and sausage with large fries, I was worried the food would be drenched in BBQ sauce, this was not the case. We were grateful the food was seasoned and sauced perfectly. The fries for us were crispy, some would say over done but perfect for us. We liked the atmosphere, service initially was a little slow but it was Mom’s Day. Oh two last things, if you order the sausage it is very hot, good but spicy hot so be prepared. Portions were decent, two of us ate from what we ordered and had a box to come home with.“

I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!“

“Me and my friend were craving pizza so we decided to hit up 1943 pizza. Right off the bat the atmosphere was really nice, it’s a cozy little place and you can see the people making the pizza in front of your own eyes which I thought was pretty marvelous. The first thing I ordered was olives, and when I tell you these olives were immaculate I mean it. PERFECT. Next we ordered a pizza and me and my friend were having a tough time picking out pizza so we asked our sever, whose name is James, to make whatever pizza that he thinks he thinks we like and holy mackerel. I think James got temporary pizza making powers God because that pizza was sensational. Overall the service was top tier. Katy the manager was so so nice and welcoming and Griffin, he’s just a great dude with great hair, and a hardworking dude at that. To sum it up my experience at 1943 transcends all other pizza places I’ve ever been to. Great staff great food and overall a great place. 10/10 would recommend.“

“We had a great experience here. It had been a long time since our last visit, but we’re so glad we stopped in. Enjoying a quick bite on the dock with the kids made for a wonderful atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Vincent, our server, was polite, efficient, and very helpful throughout our meal. The assistant general manager, Michael, even stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fantastic visit. So happy we chose to dine at Claudio’s!“
