“I treated myself to breakfast and it was wonderful! My server got my order in before the big table of 10, so my service was quick! I enjoyed the broccoli and cheese omelette with sourdough toast. Very filling and worth the price. The coffee was good too-just what I'd expect at a diner. All-in-all, a great little local diner!“

“We went last night with another couple and we literally not only had amazing food but I feel like we left with a new bestie Brenda was literally nothing short of amazing we got in the car and my husband said to me she may of been the best waitress we’ve ever had anywhere! We will be back and we will request Brenda everytime!“
“My husband and I stayed at the Creekside Inn for an overnight trip. We were so pleased with our stay AND the food! The restaurant and Inn were noticeably clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were impressed and will certainly be back! It was a quick uber ride to the casino for entertainment. A great choice to stay and eat when in town!“

“I miss the days of greasy spoons on weekends. This was a nice treat as I stopped by passing through town. The diner had a nice homey feel, and the food was good. I had a sausage, peppers, and onion omelet with Itlaian toast and coffee. Food was up in about 10 minutes. The waitress was kind and attentive.If I lived in town, that would be a place I would frequent most weekends.“

“My family and I went to The Franklin Hotel one night for dinner. We were in Rome, NY due to Capitolfest. Everything was delicious from the soft bread and butter to the gnocchi with basil cream sauce to the vanilla cannoli! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend The Franklin Hotel if you are in Rome, NY!“

“We hosted the Rehearsal Dinner of our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding at The Mason Jar in April 2025. The atmosphere, decor, space and food offered us a relaxing and comfortable “night before” celebration! The staff was outstanding! So friendly and welcoming to our group. Joanne was so great to work with during planning and at the dinner. The bartender and wait staff were attentive and personable. Overall a great experience! Thank you!“

“Was not expecting a major culinary experience but was pleasantly surprised. We had the 8oz filet. Charred perfectly and perfect medium rare. The lamb entry was excellent. The sides had a upscale presentation and were good. Only disappointment was the shrimp appetizer. It was 4 small shrimp from the buffet that were peeled in a so so garlic sauce with rice. Was more a rice dish than shrimp. Would suggest removing from menu. The utica greens app was fine. The atmosphere is more in line to a typical breakfast venue. This is not a fancy restaurant but prices are reasonable. The waitress was responsive, again more like a wait staff in a diner, but no complaints. For gamblers one can bet on the horses.“

“2 visits to this bar and I have an OFFICIAL REVIEW!!!!!The first night I had a few beers with my buddy and some homemade wings. The sauces and wings themselves were made to perfection. Service was on point and definitely there when needed. The second visit I ate a burger and fries with a few more beers. GET THIS.... the bartender both times (thursday) did it all!!!! She's amazing!!!I've gotta recommend this bar because of service, football / ufc / soccer / baseball on the tvs at all times, nice dart boards, super clean and modern bathrooms, beautiful spacious outdoor enclosed patio that can seat probably 80 people including a band, very clean kitchen, outside appearance is clean as well, and the hospitality is 'Best In Class!!!'Go. Go tonight. Your gonna have a great time, great food, great conversation and meat great people. Enjoy and have fun!“

“This is such a great place!! Every one that works there is fantastic,, along with the food and desserts!!!!! While staying at the beach we stopped in for dinner with friends and we were met with such a great staff. Kristie went out of her way to make our experience amazing,,, she did just that!!! The real story here is the owner who is the most pleasant, sincere person. 47 years of success proves she is devoted and loves what she does… the food is excellent!!! The desserts are fantastic!! We ended up eating there 3 of the 4 nights we were in town!!!
