“Best Restaurant in Farmingville! We have at least three Pizzarias closer to our house but I always prefer to make the extra trip to La Romas! Besides hands down the best tasting pizza they have a full Italian Menu from Bake Zita, Manicotti, Chicken or Eggplant Parmigiana, and Raviolis for the kids! This place is amazing and the people there are the best! Try them once and you won’t be disappointed!“

“The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.“

“I had to log into my other email just to give one more review. I came in today and I asked for a vodka sauce sandwich. After talking for a little bit with diffrent options he made me this insane sandwich. I walked home like I usually do and boy do I tell you. This was insane. The first bite felt like heaven, the second bite was some how even better. This is the perfect sandwich and I migh have to take a nap it is so good. This is the place to go, I have never been to a place I have to constantly revist just because of how good it is. Never disapoints. I am dissapointed in the community for never having this place packed. This place deserves everything and more. Love this location!!! I woulda came here as a kid everyday if I wasn't addicted to my xbox/Wii.“

We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“

World class Eggplant Parmesan. Ridiculous Veal Franchese, Insane cannoli. If you are on your way to or from the Hamptons, it’s totally worth the detour on Route 111.“

“Been there several times for on the way home for something quick. Each time the order was correct and the Pizza tasted really good. I do the combo with boneless wings and cheesy breadsticks. “Even though our son is a professional chef and we think of ourselves as "foodies," we have only limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. That's going to change, because we will absolutely go back to Taino's to explore more of the menu. We went around 6-ish on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday, and the only other patrons were at the bar. They appeared to be regulars, and the vibe was warm and casual. Coconut shrimp is one of my guilty pleasures and I order it every time I see it on a menu. Tainos' was quite possibly the best I've ever had: enormous shrimp coated in batter and flaked coconut, fried to crispy perfection and served with a to-die-for coconut dipping sauce. I'm also a skirt steak junkie, so ordered the Churrasco al la Parrilla which is served with a large serving of rice, bowl of red beans and chimichurri sauce, all presented beautifully, complete with an orchid. I was so full from the shrimp, I took nearly all of my entree home. Our lovely waitress (also the bartender) packed up my leftovers so they were just as attractive and appetizing the next day. Everything, including the steak, reheated perfectly. Granted, at my age I have a small appetite, but I'll be finishing the second (!) half of my steak, rice and beans tonight (night #3). Our son ordered the chicken Canasta de Platano (plantain 'baskets') appetizer and grudgingly gave me only a tiny (delicious) taste. Husband ordered fried cheese, and ate a whole piece even before I could take a photo. Again, I was allowed only one bite, but know I'll order my own the next time we're there. He also ordered the skirt steak, but our son tried the Colombian platter (steak, avocado, pork cracklings, fried egg, rice and more), which he loved. He gave me the sweet corn cakes which I devoured. Can't wait to try "mofungo," which seems to be a signature dish. The oxtails look fabulous, too.“
