“I am a bariatric surgery patient and I have a little card that requests if I can have a smaller portion (be it a senior portion or kids' portion). I gave it to my waitress (Heather) to have her check with the bosses. She came back and told me I could have whatever I wanted on the menu and they would accommodate my request. Heather was an absolute rockstar. She was quick with the meals, and even when she came out to let us know the lasagna was done for the day, you could tell she was worried we were going to complain (even though it wasn't her fault). We just went with the flow and she was great I'm not from the area, but I will definitely make a point to come back!“

The homemade bread, sausage and baked goods were on point- along with one of the BEST biscuits and gravy ever- we honestly think this is one of the best places for breakfast in Canandaigua. “If I could give them 10 stars I would. Their strawberry margarita was really good. One of the best I have had. Their salmon special was delicious. Good size piece too. The others in the group ordered the bison burger and loved it. Our server was fantastic. Wish I caught her name. We have Watkins Glen in common. Next time we are coming during the summer so we can sit outside. Loved the bar. It reminded me of an old saloon.“

“It's been a little bit since I have been able to dine here but the food is fantastic; I mean the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also cater for part of my fraternity every winter not a bad thing to say there at all. My favorite is thier seafood bisque and they used to have fried cheese curds, out of this world. Only reason I gave them four stars is sometimes the staff seems to forget they are working at a resturant and feel like their at home so the conduct is a bit less than professional; now I personally have no problem with it I enjoy the atmosphere it feels like Newark to me but it may rub many the wrong way so I have to "star" accordingly.“

“Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner the food is always GREAT! We live nearby and Park Place is our go-to eatery whenever I don't feel like cooking (which is pretty often these days). I like the pancakes and my hubby gets spaghetti frequently. Portion sizes are very generous and leftovers make a great snack at home.“

“My husband took me for dinner and ice cream this afternoon after a few errands. I was not able to enter the restaurant, as I have a badly broken foot and I rested in the car. My husband brought out a beautifully made sundae for me!! I would have gone inside and thanked the server, but I just needed to rest. Little did that server know, I will be having surgery in two days, and I have been in so much pain, unable to sleep, and hardly able to eat, from worry. That sundae cheered me up SO much!!!! You never know exactly who is on the receiving end of your work -- but that waiter made our sundaes as though they were a gift or from a fancy restaurant! I was so delighted! Thank you! “This is a busy bar with a surprisingly extensive menu. We drove about nine miles off 91 to find the place. My wife said the grilled cheese and tuna was amazing. My sausage sandwich was good. It is kind of a run down place but no one cared. We ate at the counter which was crowded. The owner came over and we had a nice chat. I might stop there again on our way down from Canada. The prices are very reasonable.“

“Brandon was an excellent server and the food tasted wonderful, but our hostess needs much to be desired.
We asked how to remove two chairs to make space for service dogs to lay down under the table. But she took two chairs away from the same side and just walked away. She didn't interact, no communication didn't bother to check if we were able to sit down we needed assistance moving the table away from the corner wall. Very poor impression at the beginning, get rid of wallflowers like this.
Luckily our server saved the night!“

“The last few times I have come here the food has been fresh and the staff are usually friendly. My biggest complaint is that it’s always dirty. The floors, the tables and especially the bathrooms. The staff could definitely do a better job at wiping the tables in between customers and sweeping the floors at least between breakfast/lunch/dinner services.“

“I live in Syracuse and every time that I make it out to Newark for work I stop at Tom wahls. yesterday was the first time I had seen a different bun. I really hope this is a temporary change because I have to be honest the burger only tasted about half as good as it usually does. the new buns are horrible“
