“My wife and I are chocolate truffle addicts, and that's what we came here for. We loved their selection (I think they had 16-18 varieties) and although we have just started into the truffles we purchased, so far they are very good. I've bought truffles before in various flavors that all tasted pretty much the same, but these have distinct flavors that come through beautifully. There was a nice variety of other chocolates and sweets, and a lot of people seem to like the coffee, but I was too caffeinated at that point to try some. Some of the bagged coffee sounded good but seemed on the pricey side, I think $16 for a 12 oz. bag. Always a must-stop for me when passing through Skaneateles.“

“Lovely place my sister discovered and recommended. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo dish, and my husband had the quesadillas. It was a very large platter and was good since I like garlic, but if you don't, that wouldn't be the dish for you! I tried their root beer, and it too was very good. My husband has the black tea and thought it could have been a touch sweeter. We were too full to try the ice cream.“

“My husband and I had a very rare day together when we did not have our kids, or were working separate shifts, so we wandered out, and decided we wanted real coffee so we stopped at Gretchen's. As we walked to the door it said CLOSED, as they typically are on Mondays, however, they saw us and immediately opened the door and welcomed us in!! I was shocked! I felt horrible, but they really did their best to accommodate us, and my husband got the drink he wanted, and I got a hot Americano, which was great! The drink options are unique and phenomenal (so many flavor options!!!!), pricing is fair, it's great for kids (peanut butter hot chocolate is AMAZING), the baked goods are top notch and there's a cute little library as well as local shops. “A+ eatery in all regards. I’ve begun bringing my vegetarian teen in regularly for special 1x1 days. I’ve loved every menu item I’ve ordered, as has my teen. The atmosphere is wonderful. The lighting is bright. The dining area is spacious and quiet. This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and have a peaceful moment. “Tom has a great selection of coffees and intoduces new blends during the year, I have been ordeing for maany years and never been disappointed. The coffee is always ready within a day or two and Tom is more than willing to explain the various bllends so you can choose the best one for your taste,“
