“My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. “We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. Their plain cheese pizza is unfortunately only delicious about 60% of the time when a particular chef who adds seasoning to the bottom of the crust is cooking. I have yet to figure out the best day of the week and time to order to get him/her every time. When the pizza is mediocre, the crust is too thick, the cheese tastes bland, and it needs more red sauce. A shame this place can't be more consistent with their pizza flavoring and prep.“

We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared).The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from).It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy.
