Their fried rice is pretty good too, taste like they made it of the hibachi. Huts different from the fried rice at other restaurants and take places.“

They also sell really good cakes very airy and light and The perfect consistency of sugar to cake ratio if not overly sweet so you don’t get that weird sugar flavor in your mouth. “We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. “Had Coconut Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea both with boba; it tasted really good. And the shop owner, Ayhan, was very pleasant. Great customer service, great tasting bubble tea (it doesn’t taste cheap). Bubble tea is reasonably priced for the sizes. Sometimes the shop owner is away from the desk so the wait time is maybe 1-2 minutes. The first time I came in and ordered, I was going to order a large but bc i was unsure and wanted to make sure i would drink all, I ordered a small but was given a large for the price of a small. Satisfied customer.“

This place has some of the best cocktails I’ve had, easily rivaling overpriced drinks in Manhattan - shout out to Tom!
If you have no idea what you want to drink, no worries, talk to the bartenders, they’ll help you, might even whip up something creative on the spot.
Monday nights belong to Brian the bacon guru, baby I eat pork again when I roll up here on a Monday (I pay for it later too, well worth it, lol).

The patrons are some of the most diverse and amazingly chill group of folks I’ve encountered since moving from the multicultural NYC life - Bx to be exact - to the parts up yonder.

Classic pub style seating and experience. Head up to the bar to order your food and drink, head back with your drinks and wait for the food. Theres tvs showing multiple different games but if youre not there for that the rest of the interior is the perfect astethic for a comfy night at the local bar.

The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. Everything combined made this experience one of the best outings I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“
