“Had Tagliata (steak) with mushrooms and spaghetti w/clam sauce. SOOOO GOOD! Clams tasted fresh; spaghetti was delightfully Al Dente. Steak was cooked medium rare, tender, and delicious, and the mushrooms were bursting with flavor. Waitress Ersa gave us great recommendations and was professional and courteous. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!“

“Was hearing how great their pizza and food was, so figured I’d start with their pizza. Was a bit disappointed that they only had about 6 pizza choices for a slice at the busy lunchtime hour. Opted for a regular and one that had what looked like mozzarella and another cheese. Both were huge slices, sauce is nicely sweet, crust is thin and crisp (in my opinion….as it should be). Wish they left the pizza in the oven a bit longer to fully melt the cheese so it didn’t pull off in one big piece. Pizza definitely delivered on taste, but I found them both very oily (do they drizzle olive oil on top?) and a bit salty for my taste. This would not stop me from trying their other food items as well as a specialty pizza. As previously mentioned staff is helpful and accommodating.“

“I recently stopped into Nicky’s Pizza & Deli in Montebello, NY, and wow—what a memorable visit from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the guys behind the counter greeted me like an old friend, practically welcoming me in with open arms.

I ordered their Parmesan pie and a BBQ chicken slice, while my friend went for a piping-hot Sicilian and a chicken-bacon slice. Every bite was fantastic—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The Parmesan pie had that perfect cheesy crisp, the BBQ chicken slice was savory and satisfying, the Sicilian arrived steaming and soft, and the chicken bacon slice was a hearty, flavorful one-two punch.

What truly stood out was their service—they made me feel like family, not just a customer. And props where they’re due: even the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which is huge for a casual spot like this.

“This is a nice restaurant with good food. We picked a pizza for a social occasion locally and we loved the veggie lovers and added sausage. The pizza was loaded with deliciousness!!! “We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. As a Client Svc Mgr this is an unacceptable response to a dissatisfied client. We will not be ordering from Frank's again. I guess they have enough clients to not care about EVERY client. Shame!“

As a family of native New Yorkers, we'd like to think we all know good pizza here at our house. We've been all over for good pizza, but this place has always been our at home go-to place to order from. Our grandparents ordered here for years before we moved locally and started ordering ourselves about three years ago - at least 6 or 7 years of happy customers between both families. The last 4 or 5 times we've ordered here we've been pretty disappointed - but today we received the order that officially has gotten us to the point where we will no longer be ordering or picking up food here anymore. Tonight's dinner was officially a waste of money. The peppers and onions were raw on a 1/2 sausage peppers and onions 1/2 extra cheese pie. We asked for it to be cooked well done, which we have plenty of times before, and the pizza had to be cooked in our oven so that the dough could finish cooking. The whole thing was a big, sloppy mess when we opened the cover. This place used to be great quality food - every single time. I get that times are tough and things are expensive, and things can't always be perfect. There's been a serious decline going on though, and tonight was kinda the last straw for our family.“

“The food & dessert was delicious! The service was horrible. Our server, Julio, never smiled, was not courteous, or attentive. It seemed like he was the ONLY server for the restaurant for a Saturday lunch crowd and he wasn't having it. The reality of the matter is that your servers represent the restaurant and he made our experience a negative one.“
