“Food is alright. Prices are slightly higher than that of other halal carts in the area for the same quality. It's 7.99 a platter (I don't get why they don't just round up to 8, they never give you back the 1 cent in change anyway). Comes with a free soda but obviously the price covers that so not really free. I think they should charge $7 per platter and the extra dollar if someone wants to buy a drink. Lamb didn't really hit my craving for lamb, maybe it's a lower quality lamb. Food is made really fast.“

“Delicious, fresh chicken and lamb, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and served with a smile. Quality of the meats is above the usual cart fare, and it makes a big difference. We eat a LOT of halal cart food, and Abdul offers some of the best we’ve had. If you’re in the area (or flying out of JFK and have some extra time), it’s worth a small detour.“
“Often when places increase their price they skimp out on the meat. Not this cart. You'll be getting your money's worth if you opt for any of the rice platters.Note: if you go during the day it might not be as good as the one from the night. The guy on the night shift (after 10 pm) makes it better.“

“I don't often review fast casual spots but I am passionate about Tacobees. The staff are great, it is always super clean, and the food on the line is fresh every time I go. They are running a super tight ship. Can't recommend enough.“

“Believe the rating - this place is the best Indian food in the city. The first time I went here, I sat next to an older Indian woman who boldly proclaimed the lamb curry was the best she’d ever had in her life. She was right - the meet is so tender and the curry is perfectly balanced. Even the naan - it’s textural and flavor perfection. Come here, be happy“

“I got the chicken over rice. Solid quality chicken.
Whoever was running the cart looked pretty tired in the heat :(. Nonetheless, he was still very attentive and kind!
Very quick. Will be back! Thanks so much!“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A True Taste of Morocco in the Heart of NY!”
I was on the hunt for a place to surprise my husband he’s been craving real Moroccan food and this spot absolutely hit the mark! From the very first bite, it felt like a little trip back home. The flavors were authentic, rich, and beyond delicious. Our waiter was the cherry on top: super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The kind of service that makes you feel like family. We’ll definitely be coming back here the next time we’re in New York this place is a gem! 🇲🇦✨“

“Read the reviews and thought I would give it a try after I got off my flight, starving. It was everything the reviews said it was. Super well run To-Go orders. Food was flying out of that kitchen and they have a smooth running operation that produces delicious Caribbean Jerk Chicken with amazing sauces.“

“Last week, while I was in London for work, I stopped by Shah’s Halal Food. I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. It was perfect for my no-carb diet and everything was fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a halal, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal. The staff were also incredibly polite and welcoming.“
