Oso has consistently great food and service
We’ve never been disappointed in any dish!
Our faves are the chips and guac, burrito, and of course the tacos.
This is real Mexican, not the Tex-Mex most Americans are used to: Clean, fresh, flavorful, and healthy
The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and professional
Never been there for dinner, only brunch, simply because we usually cook dinner at home
But I have no doubt that the dinner menu is at least as good as brunch

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. This is a great place for a causal date or a meal with friends/ family. Portion sizes are good and in the evening until 630 the happy hour cocktails are BOGO. “Very nice place to get some tacos and drinks, they have an outdoor area so now that the weather is getting warmer its perfect. Drinks also come with a popsicle, very fun and tasty. Highly recommend the tacos, the chicken mole was okay, not my favorite, but not bad either. Flan was creamy and delicious. Also they allow dogs if you’re sitting outside, I brought mine and they even filled his water bowl :) we will be returning!“

“When we review restaurants it should be in the context of what they are, and what they are for. This is a beyond serviceable lunch spot that seems to invalidate existence of the nearby chipotle, and possibly even the nearby sweet green.

The food is fresh, the prices are reasonable and the portions are immense. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

The food is also, by the way, quite tasty.

There are a lot of lunch options in the neighborhood but this is clearly one of the best if you are seeking a chipotle style meal.

Really enjoyed the food and the vibes were nice. We shared guacamole which was excellent, really well seasoned and with great texture. I got the birria tacos, and I went with people who got (IIRC) shrimp tacos and fish tacos respectively. Everybody was happy with their order. Will go back, no doubt.“

The chilaquiles were the real deal, like the ones I had in Mexico, perhaps a bit spicy, but that was part of the experience. Buenísimos.

“Where do I start? The food was on point. The tacos have a hearty feel to them. They dont fall apart and the flavor melts in your mouth. The appetizers are all good. They all pair well with the drink selections. Signature drinks are well curated and thoughtful. The ambiance is bring a friend, a date, some friends and come have a good time. Hospitality is top notch and professional always. I would definitely be back for another night on the town. Thank my cousin for suggesting this place. Cantina 138 needs to be put on the map!
