“Gave this place a try a week ago and it was pretty good. Nothing we had was what I would call "ground breaking" but it was pretty solid for classics. The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. I got the energizer juice also which was on par with others no notes. All in all the place is studry it sells what it's good at and seems to have a following of customers that appreciate that.“

“Easy 5 stars, even with a long wait for the bar… b/c they were fully booked and we came in on a Saturday evening with no reservation at the last minute, so that was COMPLETELY understandable. I’m only mentioning it b/c i recommend getting a reservation and so that if you go, and it’s busy, be prepared to wait, but it is worth worth it! They even brought out two tapas to thank us for waiting it out. The octopus (seared perfectly), and mushroom croquettes were his favorite, while the shishito peppers, and camarones de ajillo were my strong favorites (I needed more bread for the amazing hot garlic olive oil at the bottom). I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you have any interest in Spanish tapa style of food. The potatoes bravas were good, I like mine super crispy so I would ask for that the next time. Luckily for me I received free delivery ie to my free trial membership via Grubhub. I initially placed an order for Pepper Steak, White Rice, Beans, Boneless Chicken Chunks, and Empanadas - Beef and Chicken. I received a call from one of the employees who informed me they didn't have pepper steak. I tried to communicate with her to give me a different steak dish, but she didn't understand me. Her English wasn't the greatest and my Spanish was a little choppy, we managed to get through the call and I ended up with two orders of Boneless Chicken Chunks. The food was delicious. I received a decent portion of food. The rice was perfect. I liked that it had a little bit of oil in it which made it less dry and mushy. The beans were more sauce than beans, but it was absolutely tasty. I didn't care for the empanadas.“
